John Amos' daughter Shannon is grieving alongside fans following the death of the "Good Times" actor ... revealing she too just learned her famous dad passed away.

00:14Right because we got the death certificate this morning broke the story because it does

00:20definitely point to the strife between John Amos his son and his daughter and

00:26Remember the background here is that it came out yesterday that John Amos the father from Good Times

00:32Also coming to America lots of things he died, which was shocking enough

00:36But when we also saw the second line of the announcement, which came from his son Casey

00:42Was that he died on August 21st yet. He was announcing it on

00:48October 1st and what happened everyone is wondering how

00:52How did that happen dead for that long? So the John Amos his daughter Shannon

01:00when he told them when her brother told the media and

01:04And she didn't know so then we look at this death certificate and it says that I was cremated

01:12Nine days after he died back in August Ellie Amos more than a month ago son

01:17Yeah, and see and he by the way, he died of congested heart failure

01:21But he cremated him almost immediately

01:23He has the ashes at his home that Casey the son has the ashes but didn't tell anybody

01:33Until yesterday. Yeah, and by the way, you should say oh that makes it sound like he called Shannon

01:38He did not call Shannon. She found out when it came out in the media, right that when he made the announcement

01:44So Shannon is now saying it's interesting. Shannon just came out an allegation. That is real

01:50Shocking about what was going on around the time that John died

01:54She said someone was in the ER the night. My father died and

01:58Pretended to be his daughter. I'm his only daughter

02:02We believe it was Belinda Foster the woman who's also posing as his publicist. He died alone without family

02:14And we should say that Shannon had made a claim that her brother Casey was guilty of elder abuse

02:21Right, that was last that was last year and it was actually investigated by the authorities

02:26They dropped it because they said there was no evidence to support this

02:30But the bad blood between John's siblings John's daughter and son continued

02:36In fact at one point Casey the son was arrested

02:40for making threats against his sister

02:43So there is very bad blood between them and now

02:48John has died. He's been cremated

02:50Shannon wants answers by the way, not gonna get answers because there was no autopsy right no autopsy

03:11Obviously, they did not to not even tell your sibling that their their parent has died is so harsh and in such a deep rift

03:21I mean not just because you know, John Amos is so beloved for so many things that breaks my heart

03:25But just any family it shouldn't it shouldn't end like that. It shouldn't have ended like that for John Amos

03:37What I see looming is a huge fight over John's estate

03:43Don't know whether they've even filed whether Casey has filed anything for probate

03:48I don't know who the executor is don't know what the assets are

03:51But this could end up being a huge fight in court because it's all

03:57smelling like that right now

03:58It'll be interesting to see in John's will if if what he left to his daughter because it didn't seem like he had a rift

04:04With her but he was clearly closer to Casey who was taking care of him or or if there was a new will

04:08Or if it could have happened and she could contest that right if she says that he had dementia is what she had claimed

04:40Insinuating the abuse was still going on with her brother and that you know, everything she claimed was still happening

04:46So when's the last time she saw him was there?

04:49No memorial or funeral that was in the paper that would have alerted her to this like we don't think so

04:54There was not no. No, I mean believe me if there had been anything about a memorial for John Amos

04:59We didn't know all the media right known about right? So

05:02That's the thing is that Casey kept this under wraps somehow for 45 days shocking. Yeah
