00:00Coldplay will now retire after releasing their 12th album.

00:07Coldplay frontman Chris Martin announced the band's plan to retire after releasing their 12th album.

00:18According to Martin,

00:19we are only going to do 12 proper albums and that's real.

00:23He explained that this decision is an inspiration from their idols such as The Beatles and Bob Marley.

00:31There's only 7 Harry Potters.

00:33There's only 12 and a half Beatles albums.

00:36There's only the same 4 Bob Marley.

00:39So all of our heroes, Annie Nemarty.

00:42He also added that he wants to give his bandmates a chance to make time for their personal lives.

00:50Coldplay is set to release their 10th studio album, Moon Music, on October 4.

00:59So there's only 2 albums left before they say goodbye to making music.
