00:00Kara, what's it like to win the I98 Premier League for 2024?

00:03Great experience with a young bunch of girls so it's an excellent time to win another grand final.

00:08How's the competition been and how's it all sort of been set up?

00:12Yeah good I think it's really exciting to have lots of young players playing and then having us

00:17as experienced players being able to guide them and lead them around the park because that's what's

00:20going to develop our club. What does it mean I guess building the blocks for representative

00:25whether it be senior or junior as well? I think it's an exciting time for the women's program.

00:29We have really struggled for a couple of years around who is going to be leading that next sort

00:34of flow on effect so it's great to see so many young kids here. Tell us a little bit about the

00:38final and how it played out. Yeah it was like a pretty even final to be honest like the score

00:43didn't quite say that but we played a really great team who's got some really great experience in

00:47there as well against in Jambaroo and yeah the girls did really well. Excellent well Jared tell

00:53us about the competition what's it mean to you to win it? It's a good feeling we were minor

00:58premiers last year and got bounced in the semi so it's good to win it this year coming from third

01:02as well. Must be a good thing to be able to play with a lot of mates and especially a lot that are

01:06involved with the Tarul rugby league club as well can you tell us a little bit about that? Yeah 100%

01:10gives it a bit more meaning to just all of us coming through Tarul at rugby league together

01:14and now playing for Tarul in this. How does it help the footy players within the team do you

01:19think this sort of touch? Good definitely their ball skills show in the touch environment just

01:25yeah it's good. Tell us a little bit about the final and how it played out mate? It was a good

01:29game that they scored early and took us a while to get back into it and then once we got into it

01:33it was a good grind and we come out on top three too. And to be awarded player of the final what

01:37does that mean to you? It's good, good feeling, super sub. Yeah come on mate. Thank you. Thank you.
