00:31on these brand new Mutombo Retros in this new colorway

00:35All right, so here we go with the detailed look

00:38at the Dikembe Mutombo Retro Adidas original shoe

00:43right here.

00:45This one right here I love.

00:47I love the colorway, I love the purple hits.

00:49Definitely, definitely hide over that black with your gray

00:53and then you have this pattern right here which I love.

00:56This shoe was inspired by his culture,

01:00being an African warrior on the court.

01:02You already know if you watched him play on TV,

01:05if you grew up to him playing in the NBA

01:07or you may be a young dude, young female,

01:10watching him on YouTube, catching the highlight reels,

01:13he really was like a warrior on the court.

01:15The way that he just was stopping people

01:17from scoring all day.

01:19He was just protecting that rim.

01:21So there was a lot of that inspiration

01:23on this shoe right here, him being a warrior

01:26and I love, as you can see on the logo with your 55,

01:30just like over there, that's his number

01:33and then you've got the rest of the logo,

01:35the M in red and then the rest in white and purple.

01:38The tongue is a nubuck

01:41and then you've got a textured leather over here

01:44and then you have another kind of like full grain leather

01:47with like a gloss to it

01:49and then you have more of a full grain leather

01:51trimming out this pattern right here in purple

01:56and it's like a full grain leather

01:58and then you've got your kind of like rubber extensions

02:02to the laces.

02:04Whole midsole is black with your hit of white,

02:06purple stitching going around which accents really nice

02:10with the rest of the hits of purple.

02:13Back of the tongue, you got the design in black and purple.

02:16In the back, you have the design in black Adidas

02:18running across on the midsole.

02:21There's the bottom of the shoe right there

02:24with your hit to purple.

02:35As far as the fit, I would say they run true to size

02:37or go up half a size if you like a little room

02:40by the toe box and they feel great.

02:42They're comfortable.
