Today we're doing a run to Bonnington for Police Blue Light.
00:07
So we're providing some food for people that are struggling out there.
00:11
So they've contacted the prison and we've both jumped on it and basically we're providing
00:15
food for some needy families down in Bonnington today.
00:17
Yeah, a lot of families in need, especially at the moment.
00:20
So we've got, you know, a handful that use the food bank on a regular basis.
00:24
We asked the question and they were more than happy to supply us with some food.
00:28
We've got bolognese, we've got roast pork, we've got veggies, we've got stroganoff, we've
00:32
got taco, nachos.
00:33
So a lot of this has been done by the prisoners.
00:36
So they put their heart and soul in, which is fantastic, and they know it's for a good
00:39
cause.
00:40
So a lot of people jumped on board with this one.
00:41
It feels good to be in the community and helping the community, for sure.
00:45
You can just imagine a mum with her kids, or even a family just struggling, get a free
00:50
feed and it's really nice, it's good food, and it's heartwarming.
00:55
They're happy, they're excited.
00:57
They get chef's gear put onto them, so it just changes who they are and that they can't wait.
01:01
This is restaurant quality, I guarantee you.
01:03
I've worked in a lot of restaurants and it's primo, it's up there.
01:08
To really, you know, give back to the community, I think it's fantastic.
01:12
We're hoping it's going to be an ongoing thing.
