So guys, you're getting ready to join the Villa V Odyssey here. Can you just introduce yourselves
00:05
for our readers? Hi, I'm Dr. Victor Torres. I'm Tracey Torres. And how long is the trip that
00:12
you've got booked on? So currently we are owners on the cruise ship, so we attend to be on the
00:18
cruise ship as long as the ship's around, so 15 to 20 years. And can you just tell me a little bit
00:23
both about your work backgrounds? Okay, so I retired as a Vice President of Human Resources
00:28
in the public sector back in Los Angeles, California. And I was the Director of Human
00:33
Resources. Oh, were you his boss then? That's good, that's good. No, he was my boss. Oh,
00:38
he was your boss? I was the Director, he was the Vice President. Okay, all right,
00:41
I've got that the wrong way around. Well guys, I can see you're both so happy to get on the ship
00:47
finally. Tell me, how long have you been here in Belfast and how have you been finding it?
00:53
Okay, so I came out back in May and of course there was the delay. So one of the things that
00:59
I decided that I was not going to go ahead and take this delay in a negative manner. So I said,
01:06
you know what, I have an opportunity to go ahead and travel Europe. So throughout the delay,
01:11
I've been probably in Belfast about four or five weeks. And the rest of the time,
01:15
I spent visiting over 12 countries over the last four months. And so it's been exciting. And
01:22
you know, when else are you going to have this opportunity? Besides, you know, going on to the
01:26
cruise, that's one thing, but being able to go into areas in which the cruise is not going to
01:31
be at. So I just took advantage of it and looked at it as, hey, you know what, life is short. You
01:36
know, you can't cry over spilled milk and just move forward. And that's the attitude that I've
01:42
always bring. And that's the attitude that I brought towards this situation. Lovely. And tell
01:46
me what part of the states are you from? Los Angeles. From Los Angeles. Oh, well,
01:50
we're really apologize. The weather isn't quite Los Angeles here. Can you cope with it for another
01:55
few hours? We're coping with it right now. Yes. You know, I think if anything, I think the weather
02:01
was more challenging things, especially being from Southern California, where it might only rain
02:06
maybe 30 days a year. Yeah. And so it is always sunny in Southern California. But it's not as
02:12
green as it is here, guys. No, definitely not. No, it's a desert, of course. Yeah. Well, look,
02:16
and we wish you both a wonderful trip. And thank you so much. Thank you so much. Have a good one.
