00:00Congratulations, how does that feel?
00:02It feels absolutely amazing, seriously.
00:05To be here on the big stage with my girls for the first year of the rugby league in Newcastle,
00:09and it just, I don't know, I'm just so excited.
00:14You guys, you just looked like you were determined from the moment you went on that field.
00:18It looked like you were women on a mission.
00:21Yeah, yeah, we were. It was quite comfortable the first 10-15 minutes of the game,
00:24we really dug deep there and then once we started going away for a little bit,
00:29we actually started our second half really strong, so it was really good to see.
00:32Tia caught that sticking game, how good was that?
00:35Amazing, seriously, she's my man of the match, she got man of the match.
00:38So well deserved, Tia is seriously one of our key senior players
00:42and she made a massive difference in that game, so it was amazing.
00:45She deserved every minute of that, holding that trophy up.
00:49The two converges, the conversion from out on the boundary, that was just incredible.
00:53I know, well the field's actually wider than what we're not used to playing on,
00:56and when I saw I was out wide, I've always got faith in her,
00:59but when she nailed that, I was like, yeah, it's going to be a good day.
01:02And to the team, what next for the team, going back to back?
01:06Yeah, hopefully back to back.
01:08Like I said before on the mic, we've literally come together as juniors, seniors,
01:13people from here, there and everywhere, we've come together so well
01:16and it's just been so good to see us get there,
01:19so I believe in the next coming years, the strength's only going to build from there.
01:23And I think the great thing about your team is when you get back,
01:26you spend time with the young girls, the family's been here, it's just great.
01:30Yeah, yeah, it's really good, like we've got a couple of people who are 17 in our team
01:34and girls who come up to training who don't even get named to play
01:37but they still show up, it just shows the culture of the club.
01:40Congratulations.
01:41Thank you, appreciate it.
01:43But you set up two tries, two beautiful conversions, how good was that out there?
01:48Yeah, it felt good, I ran off the girls' energy, so it really helped.
01:53The pinpoint kicking, it's such a delight to see someone kicking so well.
02:00How often do you practice?
02:03Just at training and sometimes out of the training, but yeah, at training.
02:08Not bad, not bad.
02:10And how does it feel to be part of a team like the Pickers?
02:13I'm very grateful, yeah, very grateful and I love the Pickers and yeah, Maitland's home.
