My spoiler alert movie review of Beezel the 2024 horror movie. Complete with my own personal non copyrightable commentary analysis.

00:00Welcome to my spoiler alert of the horror movie Beezle. I've heard a lot of

00:09buzz about this movie so I figured I should probably check it out and find out

00:12what all the buzz is all about. The movie starts out with some home movies of the

00:18Weems family and their son Avery and his mother Jane being playful with each

00:23other in them. From there we move forward to May 22nd 1966 and the Weems family

00:29son Avery playing with his toy train and we hear someone calling Avery telling

00:35him to come here and to her. We follow Avery into the bathroom where he opens

00:40up the doors to the vanity and removes the bottom of the vanity revealing a

00:43secret passage. In that secret passage we discover the person who was calling him

00:48was in fact his mother Jane. She asks Avery if he can get her a snack. He runs

00:53and grabs an apple and brings it back to her. After taking it she asks Avery if

00:59her friend can have a snack too. We then see Avery get pulled into the vanity

01:04which is followed by a devouring sound. We switch over to a home movie camera

01:09which Avery's father Harold Weems uses to record the blood trail on the bathroom

01:14floor before setting it down to find Avery dead. We move forward in time to

01:20January 3rd 1987 and we get introduced to Apollo who has been called by Harold

01:25to the same house where Avery and his mother Jane had died 21 years earlier to

01:31record a documentary for Harold to help Harold set the record straight on who

01:35really killed his first wife and son. He has Apollo bring his camera and follow him

01:40down to the basement where Harold shows him where his wife Jane died. After

01:45recording some footage they take a break and head back upstairs where Harold shows

01:49Apollo nature photos he has taken. They look out the window and notice

01:53neighborhood children with their eyes covered by their hands. Harold claims

01:57that the neighborhood children believe that there is a witch living in the

02:00house. His second wife Dolores comes running out at them cackling and scaring

02:05them off. Harold then persuades Apollo into staying longer and at the house by

02:11claiming they will not be able to film everything you need to film in the time

02:14that they have and offering him triple his original price to which Apollo

02:19agrees. Harold then tells Apollo he has to go and find something so Apollo

02:24decides to check the footage that they recorded while they were down in the

02:27basement. He notices something behind Harold in a few frames but before he has

02:33a chance to identify what it is Harold calls him and shows him footage of his

02:39wife Jane dying. Apollo after seeing this tries to leave telling Harold he can

02:44keep the money but it's too late as Harold has already drugged Apollo and he

02:49passes out. When Apollo wakes up he is tied to a chair and there is a camera

02:54pointed at him. Harold explains to him who Beezle is and a brief history of her

02:59and the relationship Harold and her have. Apollo breaks free from the chair and

03:04stabs Harold in the neck. Harold falls to the floor where he slowly bleeds to

03:09death. Apollo sees Beezle approaching from behind the camera. He pleads for his

03:13life. Beezle grabs Apollo's head ripping it

03:16completely off. From there we move forward again in time to November 20th

03:212003 and Harold's widow Dolores who has a new visiting nurse named Naomi who has

03:28been sent to the Weems home to replace Charlotte who has gone missing. Naomi

03:32enters the home and introduces herself. She begins to take care of Dolores

03:37making her food and tucking in Dolores. She finds a tape recorder under

03:43Dolores's bed after she accidentally drops a utensil after Dolores would not

03:49eat. On her way to the kitchen she hears noises downstairs in the basement which

03:56she goes down to investigate but finds nothing while she's down there. She hears

04:01Dolores moaning in the bedroom and she runs back upstairs. When she gets into

04:06the bedroom she finds Dolores there laughing and acting possessed to which

04:10Naomi just stares at her in disbelief. After Dolores settles down she takes the

04:15tape recorder into the dining room and listens to it revealing that the person

04:20on the tape is indeed the missing Charlotte who has recorded Dolores in

04:24her possessed state and a demonic voice in the background claiming they need to

04:29kill Charlotte. Naomi decides to record Dolores as well. Naomi falls asleep and

04:35is awakened by a nightmare about Beezle. When she checks the recording she

04:40realizes that Beezle knows her name and wants to kill her. Naomi believing she

04:46hears Dolores downstairs in the basement goes down to investigate. She goes into

04:50the storage room where she finds the name tags of the two nurses who

04:53preceded her hanging from the rafters. She hears crying from the stairwell. She

04:58proceeds to go back up the stairwell and finds a secret door on her left which

05:03she opens and notices that there is a body of a woman in the far corner of a

05:09crawlspace. However once she enters that secret door crawlspace and goes to

05:13investigate the woman in the corner she comes face to face with Beezle. When she

05:17turns to go back to the secret door Dolores is there and she closes it and

05:21locks the door from the outside leaving Naomi to her fate of being another

05:26victim of Beezle. Moving another 10 years forward in time we come to February 10th

05:322013 where we meet up with Dolores daughter-in-law Nova and her son Lucas

05:37who has inherited the Williams house after his mother has passed away. Lucas

05:41is her son from a relationship before she met Harold. Lucas believes that his

05:46mother was a part of a cult and that the part about a witch living in the

05:50basement is that of fairy tales. While they are there Nova discovers some

05:54hidden secrets about the house such as not only is there a hidden door in the

05:58basement stairwell but also she finds the secret passageway in the bathroom

06:03vanity. She also starts to experience the nightmares that come along with

06:07staying in the house. First while she's sleeping and then after she explores the

06:12house further once she's awake. Lucas upon seeing a bunch of knives on the

06:17kitchen floor and the video recorder on the table gets curious. He starts looking

06:22through the videos and finds one where he and Nova are in bed making love but

06:26their eyes are lit up blue and he questions her about it. He then goes

06:31downstairs and finds a box with the old tape recorder in it and his mother's

06:35voice on the tape and two old home movie reels which he starts watching. He learns

06:41the history of the original owners and images of his stepfather's first wife

06:46and their son lying dead in the house. He begins to realize quickly there is

06:50something very wrong with the house. The house slowly creeps into his nightmares

06:56as well until those nightmares become a reality and Nova ends up stabbing him

07:01to death. The movie ends with a pregnant Nova giving birth in the basement and

07:05Beezle holding the crying baby in the dark storage. Okay now that we've

07:12reviewed the movie it's time to give my review of the movie. I thought the movie

07:19was actually very well thought out and the actors and actresses while not that

07:24experienced do quite well and are quite believable in their roles. While this

07:29isn't some big Hollywood production it doesn't need to be to get the story

07:34across. I give it a solid four stars. Thank you for watching.
