00:00Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen

00:08Wa sallallahu wa sallam wa baraka ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ala alihi wa ashabihi ajma'in

00:17Amma ba'du fa a'udhu billahi min ash-shaytani ar-rajim

00:22Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim

00:25Wala al-akhiratu khayrun laka minal oola

00:29Sadaqallahul Azeem

00:31Wa sadaqa Rasuluhun Nabiyul Kareemul Ameen

00:35Allah Jalla wa Ala in the glorious Quran within the ayah that I have recited

00:43mentions the praise of Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:48As well as in numerous other ayahs, the explicit praise of Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is found

00:57And praising the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

01:01This is the way of the Quran, the way of the Sahaba alayhimul Ridwan

01:06and one of the maqasid of these gatherings

01:09Allah says Wala al-akhiratu khayrun laka minal oola

01:14One interpretation of this ayah is that it means that O Beloved Prophet

01:21Your hereafter is better than this dunya for you

01:25Another tafsir, another interpretation of this ayah is

01:29Wala al-akhiratu khayrun laka minal oola

01:32That every single passing moment of yours is better than your previous moment

01:37Subhanallah

01:39And why should it not be so?

01:42Now, when a gathering is conducted in this realm, in the dunya

01:49The gathering, its size, its magnanimity

01:54It corresponds and correlates with the magnanimity of the person

02:00With the magnanimity of the person who you are celebrating

02:05So if there is a great king

02:08And he has a child, or there is a wedding

02:12He will have a huge, pompous gathering

02:17Spend great amount of wealth on that gathering

02:23But this is whom we are talking about Rasulullah alayhi wa sallam

02:29And the one praising him is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

02:35And regarding the status of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

02:39Allah said warafa'na laka dhikra

02:41And we have raised high your remembrance

02:44Your every coming moment is better than your previous moment

02:47So the taqaba, what is the matloob of this

02:52Is that the gathering which is conducted, the dhikr which is conducted

02:57In remembrance of Rasulullah alayhi wa sallam

03:01That it be greater at every given moment

03:05That it be greater in every given moment

03:08And we see in this country a hundred years ago

03:11Perhaps there was barely anybody to mention the mawlid of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

03:19But as Islam spread, the Muslims increased

03:22Now you find in every city hundreds of mawlids taking place

03:26Every Rabiul Awwal

03:28Multiple people on the same street they are celebrating the mawlid of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

03:33Making the dhikr of the messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

03:36This is one aspect

03:38Now Allah ta'ala has sent his beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

03:42And not just for Muslimin, not just for mankind

03:46But rather for mankind, jinkain and all of the creations, the entire universe

03:53That's why he said

03:56And he said

04:01And we have not sent you except as a mercy to the entire universe

04:06So the entire universe, its existence is connected with the mercy of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

04:15Just this one sifah, this one quality of the messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

04:20His rahma encompasses the entire universe

04:23What about the rest of his awsaf?

04:25What about his reality, his haqiqah?

04:28Sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam

04:31Now the maqnoob, the qaaba of the muqtada of the praise of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

04:42The gathering of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

04:45That its style also continuously increase

04:48And I have given one example which we could easily understand from

04:53Like in the Quran, remember Allah said

04:57He is mercy for the entire universe

04:59And his praise, his status, his greatness in every given moment is increasing

05:10So the muqtada of this is what?

05:12That the gathering in the aalameen is also increasing

05:16This would be the logical conclusion one could come to

05:21And so it is

05:23Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in the Quran

05:32That the heavens, the sky which we have created

05:39We are causing it to increase in size, we are making it ever vast

05:44And today's researchers, scientists, they say the same thing

05:48That this universe is expanding at a very rapid rate

05:52This universe for which Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sent his prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

05:59As a mercy to this entire universe, everything which exists

06:04And that universe is ever increasing

06:07And that's the muqtada of him being rahmatan lil aalameen

06:11And the fact that his status is ever increasing

06:15Sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam

06:17One last note I would like to mention

06:21Allah said

06:24Every passing moment is better than your previous moment

06:32And your lord, your rab

06:36Soon he shall grant you so much so that you become pleased

06:41And the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when he heard this ayah he said

06:48I shall not be pleased until even one of my ummah is in hellfire

06:54I will still not be pleased until all of my ummah enters into paradise

06:59That's when I will be pleased

07:10So my final message is that

07:13That merciful prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

07:17That holy prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam whose kalima we recite

07:22This is his love for us

07:24That he will not be pleased to see any one of us in the fire of hell

07:29He will be working

07:31He will be asking Allah, he will be beseeching Allah

07:35He will be crying in the court of Allah

07:38To take us out of hellfire

07:41And even before we were born

07:43He remembered us and cried for us, made dua for us

07:47And he inshallah in the akhirah he will also make shafa'ah for us, intercession for us

07:52But what have we done?

07:56What have we done to follow in the message he gave us?

07:59The Quran which he

08:01Which was revealed upon him and he gave to his ummah

08:06Do we open up that Quran daily to read some ayat?

08:09Do we open up that Quran to learn some meanings of the Quran?

08:14The tafsir of the ayat of the Quran?

08:17Do we try to make an effort to pray that salah which was the coolness of his eyes as he said

08:23He said the coolness of my eyes is in salah

08:27Do we pray that salah regularly?

08:30Do we attempt to come to the masjid to pray our salah with jama'at if we are able to?

08:36May Allah ta'ala give us the tawfiq

08:38And make us true in our love to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam

08:43walhamdulillahi rabbil alamin
