00:00Okay, before you became a celebrity, who were you?

00:11Still like same Kim Jisoo, but you know, my life was just simple, became an actor.

00:17You know, I just loved sports like basketball, football, and especially I love playing computer

00:25games.

00:26So I used to go to PC room often, yeah.

00:31Childhood.

00:32When we talk about childhood, what do you remember?

00:36Actually it's similar with, you know, my childhood was just fun and active.

00:41You know, I'm always spend a lot of time outdoors because I love to go like play basketball

00:48or football and go to PC room with the friends.

00:52Yeah, actually that's it.

00:54Who is your favorite basketball player?

00:57Maybe Curry.

00:59Oh, he did very well during the Olympics.

01:03He too is my favorite, but I want to play with him one-on-one.

01:06I'm joking, okay.

01:09So how did you start in, was it Seoul in South Korea?

01:12Yeah, it was Seoul.

01:13How did you start in South Korea and did you go, like other actors here in the Philippines,

01:18did you go through auditions?

01:19Yes.

01:20You did?

01:21Yeah.

01:22Your story?

01:24Yeah, I did audition.

01:25So my official debut was like 2015 by Angry Mom, by NBC drama.

01:33And it was also through the audition.

01:35You know, there's a lot of actors, so I started with audition and acting classes.

01:41Oh, you did acting classes?

01:43Yeah, yeah, yes.

01:44Okay.

01:45While I was studying.

01:46And yeah, it was actually lucky to get the first role when I was 22.

01:51Korea is, I am told, very tough in terms of getting into the entertainment business.

02:01Yes, right.

02:02In your experience, how tough and how fun was it getting into the entertainment business

02:09in Korea?

02:10Yeah, actually it was really fun.

02:14You know, when I was 19, I was an actor training in the JYP Entertainment for six months.

02:22And I did like acting, singing, even dance class.

02:27And after then, I got my role at the first role like 2015.

02:34So it's really fun because I love my job, but at the same time, you know, it's very

02:38tough because I always have a lot of pressure to do well, you know.

02:45And all of us go through that in the entertainment business.

02:48And what a privilege it is to have you actually here on the show.

02:53Do you know Sandara Park?

02:54Yes, for sure.

02:56Are you friends?

02:57Not really friends, but we did some variety show.

03:01Okay.

03:02Yeah.

03:03And Sandara, if you're watching, Kim Jisoo is very nice, is very kind, na-pa-ka-ba-it.

03:08She's a very good friend of mine.

03:09Oh, yeah.

03:10Because she's starting a business with us.

03:11Yes, right.

03:12Yeah, I was a judge on Star Circle Quest where she started.

03:17She's a nice girl.

03:18And she's very famous now.

03:20I hope when she comes to the Philippines, she gives me a lot of money.

03:24Okay, Jisoo, you rested.

03:30You went on a hiatus for like a number of years.

03:35Yes.

03:36What does it feel now to finally be back again in the business that you love?

03:41Yeah.

03:42It's just really grateful and actually so happy.

03:46So I'm so excited to be showing my new side, new version of myself.

04:03But Jisoo, what is it about the Philippines that made you decide to explore the entertainment

04:11business?

04:12Yes.

04:13Because, you know, I had a great experience here before because I had a family here and

04:18also I have friends here.

04:20So I had a lot of experience here.

04:23So I love this culture.

04:25And also, you know, the industry here is growing up.

04:30So I wanted to be part of it.
