00:00Fifty-one and a half receiving yards, anything going to stand in that way, over or under?
00:09Yeah, I think Jonathan Taylor, the run game.
00:11So if I'm pushing that narrative, and I'm pushing a little simplification, and Josh
00:16Downs, who's a big playmaker, comes back here, that I think the 51 and a half, it's very
00:21similar to the Terry McLaurin situation, where Pittman, I think, is one of these guys that
00:27you want to buy long term, but in the short term, you just need to see a little bit more
00:32happen here.
00:33Now, I could be absolutely wrong on this one, that one big play, because Richardson's capable
00:36of doing that.
00:37We've seen it.
00:38He's so explosive that this could easily be incorrect.
00:42But if you're looking about setting your lineup, and you're understanding the limitations of
00:45Pittman, you have to account for that in your flex bot.
00:48Maybe have somebody who's a little bit more explosive there, right?
00:50You want to make sure you get the Shaheeds in, or maybe the Xavier Worthys are a little
00:54bit more worthy of a flex bot today.
00:56If you have a guy like Pittman as your wide receiver two or three.
01:00So Pittman is a player right now that, again, I'm going for the under in the 51 and a half.
01:04He can be useful, of course.
01:05He's a great player.
01:07And I do believe over time, things will get better for him.
01:10But we're still in September, and I just think we have to have a little bit more patience.
01:13But if you don't have patience, there might be some other guys you might start over.
01:17Tee Higgins, I think, is a perfect example of a guy you can have that conversation.
01:20Tee Higgins, I think, might be in line for a better day than Michael Pittman when all
01:23said and done.
01:25All right.
01:26Actually, let's pull that game up, actually.
01:27Washington and Cincinnati.
01:28Let's take a receiver from each team and have the conversation.
01:31You were mentioning Terry McLaurin.
01:33Let's start there.
01:34Terry McLaurin is 48 and a half receiving yards here.
01:36How do you lean?
01:37Again, this is another one of those unders.
01:39A lot of the stuff we talked about now are one of the average depth of target being very
01:44short for Jaden Daniels until that starts to change.
01:47And it could change today in garbage time.
01:50And I'm encouraging, if I'm Dan Quinn, I'm saying to Jaden Daniels, hey, we're down by
01:55a touchdown, down by two touchdowns.
01:57Go out there like it's LSU in the fourth quarter and you're just putting up points.
02:01Go play with reckless abandon.
02:03Don't worry about throwing picks.
02:04Sit in the pocket a little longer.
02:06Try to make that read.
02:07Use that big arm of yours.
02:09It takes time for confidence to build in young quarterbacks.
02:11And what you've seen so far in Jaden Daniels is when things get rough, he dumps it off
02:16or he runs.
02:17And that is normal.
02:19That's typical of the rookie quarterback experience.
02:22Unfortunately, it's not good for Terry McLaurin right now.
02:26It should get better over time.
02:28But this week, again, it's a lower number 48 and a half.
02:30I would still go under this one until further notice, until you start to see some of that.
02:35And if we're wrong about it, that's a good thing, because then hopefully we can build
02:39on that for week four.
