00:00Good news for the government's employees, the first tranche of salary increase has been released for government employees.
00:08This is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and the cooperation of the Department of Budget and Management.
00:15DBM Secretary Amina Pangandaman was happy to announce that the agency has issued a fund of P36.45 billion pesos to all 308 departments and agencies.
00:27Pangandaman also added that it is up to the government and agencies to implement the salary adjustment so that it can be received by government employees.
00:36Meanwhile, it is expected that the second, third, and fourth tranches will be implemented in 2025, 2026, and 2027.
00:44Aside from this, on behalf of Executive Order 64 of the President, government employees will also receive P7,000 worth of medical allowance starting next year.
