00:28We didn't have a lot of

00:30pressure we didn't start the

00:31way we want to but we're ready

00:32to forget about that and we just

00:34move forward and try to finish

00:35the season.

00:36Regular season strong and

00:37prepare for a playoff.

00:38I couldn't be any prouder of

00:39these guys.

00:41Their resiliency their toughness

00:44their love for one another.

00:45It's been a long it's been a

00:46tough year guys.

00:48knew that we were coming top.

01:16We're going to playoffs and we

01:17got you know we've got a couple

01:19more games to get there for the

01:21regular season.

01:22So we're excited right now

01:25obviously and we're excited to

01:26start.

01:28I mean the start to the season

01:29wasn't what we wanted but we

01:30knew how good of a team we are.

01:31How many great players we had

01:33around us.

01:33So I mean it's just a matter of

01:34time.

01:35So we started clicking and you

01:36know turn things around and it

01:38ended up being a great season

01:38for us.

01:39No it was obviously we got off

01:41to a tough start but everyone

01:42just kept working kept their

01:43head down and stayed focused.

01:45And I'm very proud of this

01:47group group of guys that know

01:48how to win games.

01:50It's in the culture and it's

01:51been a it's been a fun year

01:52honestly.

01:53It's kind of like this team that

01:54tough the tough times kind of

01:56make you obviously it's a game

01:57of failure.

01:58So you've got to show up every

01:59day and work at it.

02:01And I love this ballclub and

02:03we've done a really good job

02:04competing.

02:05I'm proud of the group and got

02:06to keep going.

02:06I don't know it's very different

02:07for me personally.

02:08Obviously not having as big of

02:11an impact on the field.

02:13Just seeing the maturity of

02:15these young guys to step up and

02:17obviously I think every Astros

02:18fan has seen over the years when

02:20something happens and somebody

02:22needs to step up.

02:23It's like somebody fills in

02:24right away and it's exceptional.

02:25I honestly am just truly happy

02:27to watch him go on to perform.

02:29Get to know who I am.

02:36Yeah it feels good obviously

02:37getting the opportunity to be

02:38able to have a chance to be able

02:40to do it.

02:40Also feels good that you're the

02:41one that gets it done.

02:43And yeah being able to get it

02:44done in that right moment

02:45definitely feels great success

02:47and greatness doesn't come easy.

02:48You're going to have to battle

02:49and fight for the things that

02:50you want for greatness success

02:52and it's going to feel that much

02:53better once you get there.

02:54A lot of sleepless nights

02:55rollercoaster ride for sure.

02:57Lot of ups and downs.

02:58down early. We kind of leveled out when we started to play well and then we put

03:02things together and look at us now. We're right there back in the division winners.

03:07Yeah I've been in baseball for 35 years and I know what a bad team looks like

03:11and I knew that this was a good team and I felt really good about the team, the

03:14makeup. I felt good about the choice and the manager and Joe Espada and I felt

03:18like it was just a matter of time before we got things going and when we got

03:21things going we took off.
