A&W Ruffles crunch teen Burger Limited Time only Review Canada

00:00Hello everyone, this is Paul Branson Reviews and so much more. I went to A&W

00:07and I heard of this new teen burger with ruffle chips on top. So I guess they call

00:12it, well you'd see the picture. It's a huge picture of a huge burger with bacon

00:17and a whole bunch of other things. It is a teen burger but they changed it a

00:21little bit and had ruffles on top. Now I'm going to open it up and show you

00:24what I'm talking about. It actually feels kind of, oh it's not wrapped up.

00:28Like look how big this burger is from A&W and it's cross-fed beef always at

00:37A&W and right here it's in this little thing. This is where they should put

00:42large fries. Can you imagine how many fries would go in there? I didn't get

00:45fries with this. I just wanted what it was. It's a big one. It cost about $10 but

00:51look at this. The bun is cooked perfectly in my opinion. It's not burnt

00:56or anything in any way. Look at all the lettuce and the sauce is on the lettuce.

01:00I think the sauce and there's the chips. I'm not sure what flavor those chips are

01:05so I'm going to just grab one and see what flavor they picked.

01:16I'm actually not sure what flavor those are. They're not regular chips that I

01:20thought they might be regular ruffles. They taste like all dressed so I believe

01:26they're all dressed chips but let's see how this tastes. Like look at this. Look

01:30at all the onions at the bottom. There's onions at the bottom and of course you

01:34got the meat in the middle there. I'm making it messy now because I'm trying to

01:39show you the inside. There's the bacon where I believe there should be more

01:43bacon than just that. That's actually kind of a ripoff I think but there's the

01:47cheese. Let's see how good this is.

02:02My first bite I didn't even feel any of the of the chips.

02:18Actually it's quite a good burger. The only thing that's missing in this burger

02:23because I believe the teen burger has pickles. I think they should have still

02:26left the pickles in and I think the pickles would have made a wonderful

02:30difference to this sandwich if they left the pickles in but the sauce is good and

02:35more bacon especially for a $10 burger.

02:48It doesn't have an aftertaste. It's actually quite good actually. Let's see.

03:05That bite there right there I got a lot of chips so I guess they put a lot of

03:10chips in the middle and they don't spread it evenly because I'm not always

03:14tasting the chips but everything else in here you know the lettuce and the onion

03:19I'm definitely tasting the onion. It looks like to me they put a heck of a

03:22lot of onion in here. I'm not also I'm not really even tasting the cheese. I

03:26definitely taste the lettuce and it gives it a crunch but more bacon. They

03:31should have left in the pickles and I think this would have been a fantastic

03:34sandwich. Well let's see.

03:43Hmm it's it's not consistent with every bite but I really do like the onions

03:56though.

04:04I can see the sauce on the onions so I'm just gonna

04:13I'm not sure what sauce it is. It's a very good sandwich though. I would give

04:19this an 8 out of 10 because it's cooked perfectly. The bun is not hard at the

04:24bottom or top. It's nice and soft and it's it does have cheese but if it had

04:28more bacon and they kept the pickles I think that I would easily give this like

04:34a 9 and I do think it would be really cool if they kept this for large fries.

04:46Can you imagine putting a whole bunch of large fries in there? Oh look how many

04:50fries you'd get. Extra large please. Put fries or onion rings in a bag like

04:55this. That would be amazing but A&W is grass feed beef and the beef is from A&W

05:02so it's fantastic. Now this is a limited time. I'm not sure if I would actually get

05:08this again because I really do miss the pickles in it but that being said I

05:12still give it an 8 out of 10. I still liked it but they shouldn't really call

05:17it a teen burger. They could have made it a limited edition different type burger

05:20like maybe call it the Ruffles burger or something like that.

05:25But yeah I give this an 8 out of 10. I didn't really taste the

05:38potatoes I mean the chips too much. They were in there. I taste it like there was

05:45one bite I had that I really tasted it. Now if it was consistent like that I

05:49might have given it a bit higher but I like I said before I really do miss the

05:53pickles.

06:11I could be wrong on the flavors of the Ruffle chips. They do kind of taste like

06:17all dressed but I could be completely wrong. They're either all dressed or

06:21barbecue or spicy barbecue or they could have just gave them a special chip

06:26a limited edition special chip just for this sandwich. I don't know. I didn't ask.
