00:00Martin Truex Jr. Will not move on to the round of 12. Had a speeding penalty. We heard the
00:06disappointment on the radio. Taking responsibility for that. How hard is it?
00:11It's really tough, you know, when it's .09 miles per hour that, you know, kind of screws
00:16your whole chance at a good season up. So, yeah, just I don't know how that happened.
00:21I didn't know I was even that close, honestly. I felt like I did the same thing as every
00:25other stop. But, you know, sometimes you're just a foot maybe I was a foot to the left
00:29or it's so tricky when you're going from that curve section to the straight to get your
00:33lights and I just, yeah, it's on me. Obviously, it's my mistake. So, yeah, I mean, they said
00:40that we were going to have to run second or third there to have a chance. And I don't
00:43know if we could have done it, but it would have been nice to see. And just really sad
00:48for my guys. They worked so hard. And, you know, we had a really strong car tonight.
00:53We did, you know, we got a lot of stage points. We did what we needed there. Just hate I screwed
00:57it up. I wish we could at least seen if we could have done it would have been fun to
01:00have a fighting chance. But from here, we'll just go on and try to race hard and hopefully
01:04get back to victory lane for it. So all said and done. You said you're sad for your guys.
01:08But what about you? This is your last full time season. How much does that add to the
01:12disappointment of tonight? You never like to let anybody down, you know, no matter what
01:17the situation. So I hate that I did that tonight.
