00:17The new seasons of the popular and expert talk programs of the Department of Science and Technology will be aired on PTV next month.

00:25These are the programs of the Department of Science and Technology aimed to bring to the public the benefits of science.

00:31The youths who will be interested in this will be included here.

00:35In studies, the engagement is very high when it comes to visuals, right?

00:41People are visual.

00:43So through television, through social media, where our programs are platforms,

00:49we think it is effective to reach out to our intended audience, especially the youths.

00:56Along with the excitement of watching the two programs,

00:59grade 7 student Mika, her favorite subject is science.

01:04It helps the students to broaden their knowledge about science or science,

01:12and to broaden their understanding of the world around us.

01:19In the program, Science is Popular, the story of ordinary Filipinos

01:23who are facing challenges in their communities in the field of science and technology.

01:29In the new season, innovations in Visayas and Mindanao will be accompanied by their hosts,

01:35Secretary Renato Saldong Jr. and Diego Reyes.

01:39We want to showcase that science has no age, no barrier,

01:43that anyone, even high schoolers, can think of ways, innovative ways,

01:48on how to use science to solve their everyday problems.

01:51No one is above or below science.

01:53So, it's welcome to everyone, it's open to everyone,

01:56and hopefully, we will have more places to go in the next seasons.

02:00The new season of Expert Talk with AJ Castro should be watched and be an inspiration

02:06to the young Filipino scientists who are striving for their careers.

02:10The entire country is rotating to share their stories

02:14when it comes to their research, invention, or innovation.

02:17You know, they say that youth is the hope of the country.

02:21That's why it's important that we encourage the youth

02:24because science and technology can be one of the solutions

02:27that can help the problems that our country is facing.

02:31We encourage you to broaden your thoughts about your interests,

02:36about science, because science is for the people.

02:39Watch Expert Talk every Thursday at 4 p.m. from October 5,
