Robert MacIntyre hailed Andy Murray's sporting greatness following their partnership in the Wentworth pro-am

00:00If I achieve half of what he achieved in his sport, then I'll have overachieved, to be honest with you.

00:11The guy is a sporting idol of many, many Scottish people.

00:14I mean, I had dinner the other night with Callum Hill and others,

00:19and Callum doesn't know much about other sports other than golf,

00:24but Andy Murray is his sporting idol.

00:26And, look, when a Scottish person does so well, the whole of Scotland gets behind them.

00:35And, I mean, I'm no different.

00:37When he was winning Wimbledon, you know, it was like I watched every shot.

00:44And I'd love to have half a career that he had in my sport,

00:50but there is so much work that goes into it.

00:53For me, it was about, from going forward, it's just trying to pick his brains,

00:58because our sports are probably as close as we can get it.

01:01Obviously, the mechanics are completely different, but we're individual.

01:05We've got our own teams.

01:07It's as close as we're going to get to the game of golf.
