00:00A 13-year-old man was arrested after attempting to rape a 13-year-old woman in Quezon City.

00:06The suspect is a neighbor and a co-worker of the victim's stepfather.

00:12Vel Custodio reports.

00:17This man was in jail for rape after attempting to rape a minor in Magsaysay, Quezon City on Monday.

00:25According to the 13-year-old victim, the suspect entered their house while he was sleeping on Monday.

00:31The victim was no longer conscious because of the fear and the smell.

00:35The suspect entered their room with a knife.

00:41There was a stick that was smelled on his nose.

00:51The victim became weak.

00:54The knife was pointed at him and he was able to kill himself.

01:00Because of the victim's fear, he was not able to speak to his parents.

01:05He feels that his mother is not good. He wants to ask her to forgive his son.

01:12It was found out that the victim's stepfather, a co-worker of the victim's stepfather, relied on him.

01:17The suspect also lives in the compound where the victim's family lives.

01:22The suspect was arrested in the compound and is now in the custody of Project 6 Police.

01:28The suspect had a record of frustrated murder in 2005.

01:32But the suspect denied the charges.

01:35I don't have any evidence.

01:44But he admitted that they sometimes had an illicit relationship with the victim's stepfather
