Austrian Soldiers In Flood Battle

Volunteers and emergency workers raced to secure river banks in Austria. CGTN’s Johannes Pleschberger went to watch the recovery mission.

00:21Austria. The situation is still quite serious although water levels are

00:26dropping. Now the storm is moving towards Italy but lots of areas in

00:32Central Europe have been hard-hit. Czech Republic, Poland, also Slovakia and

00:38Hungary. Thousands of evacuations, several people had to die. This is one of the

00:43worst floods in Central Europe's recent history.
