Police have arrested the driver in a deadly car crash in northern Taiwan. Video shows the driver veering into oncoming traffic, killing one person and injuring five others in Hsinchu.

00:04one woman and left five others including a four-year-old child in hospital.
00:10The driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and collided with a scooter rider
00:14and pedestrian who were crossing the street.
00:17Police found suspected drugs in the vehicle along with a prop gun.
00:21The driver was arrested at the scene while a passenger fled on foot.
