00:00A 31-year-old branded a nuisance for driving his quad bike around Skelmersdale streets
00:05has been jailed for six months. Ian Fenny, 31, of Parker Crescent, Ormskirk, was sentenced
00:11to 24 weeks in prison and has been disqualified from driving for two years at 133 days.
00:19Blackpool Victoria Hospital's new boss has acknowledged its troubling history of clinical
00:23and safety issues, including an unsolved murder, sexual assault, botched operations
00:29and nurses jailed for drugging nuisance patients. Maggie Oldham, who joined Blackpool Teaching

00:46Police have arrested a man following an explosion at a house in Burnley over the weekend. The
00:51man was treated for minor burn injuries at the scene and has since been arrested on
00:55suspicion of producing a controlled drug and criminal damage to a dwelling and remains
01:01in custody.
01:03Two more people from Wigan have been charged by detectives investigating violent disorder
01:07in Southport. Shannon Gibson, 58, of Beech Hill Avenue, Beech Hill, and Ben Gibson, 32,
01:14of Olmanbrook Road, Standish, are due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court today after
01:19being charged with violent disorder.
01:23Residents can have their say on a new project to build a skate park in Heysham. Lancaster
01:28City Council has received money from a housing development, which must be spent on either
01:32young persons' provisions or outdoor sport in the Heysham area.
