00:00A part of the Philippine General Hospital was set on fire this morning.

00:10Employees, patients and their relatives in the Philippine General Hospital were in chaos.

00:19This is after a part of the main building of PJH was set on fire this morning.

00:25It was immediately set on fire with the second alarm.

00:27In the initial investigation, the fire started in the air conditioning unit.

00:32It was near the outpatient department of the hospital.

00:35One room of the hospital was set on fire.

00:37It was past 7 in the morning when the fire was completely extinguished.

00:42It was around 8 in the morning when the patients were allowed to return to their rooms.

00:49Meanwhile, DOH Secretary Teodoro Herbosa

00:53was helping the patients in the burned-out rooms.

00:58In addition, UPPGH ambulances were prepared

01:03in case the patients affected by the incident need to be transferred to other DOH hospitals.
