00:00Hi, my name is Jürgen Reuswick and I am the studio director of Claymore Game Studios.
00:19We are currently working on Commando's Origins, a brand new game based on the legendary Commando's
00:23franchise.
00:25When the first Commando's game was released back in 1998, it revolutionized the genre
00:30of strategy games.
00:33Instead of harvesting resources and building infrastructure to produce huge armies, Commando's
00:38let you take over control of six elite soldiers with unique abilities which you had to tactically
00:44use to succeed in challenging covert op missions deep behind enemy lines.
00:51Commando's Origins is taking you back to where the story of the Commando's has begun
00:55and today, for the first time, we will be showing the command mode in Commando's Origins.
01:02Command mode lets you pause the game and issue orders to each individual Commando which you
01:07then can execute simultaneously or upon key press per every single Commando.
01:15So here you can see, I am instructing both the Green Beret and the Marine to take out
01:21two of the enemies on my signal.
01:24I am now having the Zapper place a trap down where the third guard is patrolling.
01:30Now the plan is set.
01:33As the patrolling guard turns away from his comrades and towards our awaiting trap, I
01:39give the signal to execute their orders.
01:45Command mode allows you to chain your Commando's unique abilities and execute complex strategies
01:51which will be necessary throughout the campaign.
01:55In this example, I am approaching another situation which one Commando could not easily
02:00solve alone.
02:02But command mode lets you handle this elegantly.
02:06The Marine will be ordered to throw a stone and distract one of the enemies.
02:11Then the Green Beret and the Zapper will be set up to take out the two enemies.
02:18Once set up, we can sequentially trigger the pre-recorded actions and clear the area.
