01:42to the mystery of the ghost of the demon shark.

01:54how you figured out the mystery.

01:58The real demon shark is still frozen in your lab.

02:06to make it seem that it had been brought back to life.

02:10Because he wanted to scare Dreyfuss,

02:12the manager, off the job.

02:14Why Dreyfuss?

02:16To answer that, let's start with the crime.

02:18While he was in India dredging up the demon,

02:20Wells read about the jewel shipment

02:22and arranged for the demon to be shipped on the same plane.

02:24Then Wells used his expert skill

02:26at cabinet-making

02:28to construct a secret hiding place for himself

02:30in the base of the real demon's cabinet.

02:32After the guards locked the customs building,

02:34he sneaked out,

02:36snatched the pearls, and ducked back in.

02:38So now he had the pearls,

02:40but why did he want to scare off Mr. Dreyfuss?

02:42Wells had hidden the pearls

02:44inside some frozen oysters

02:46from Sam's fish market.

02:48And then he put them in the tank

02:50with the live oysters,

02:52intending to ship them out of the state

02:54to another aqualand in Florida,

02:56where he could pick them up later.

02:58It was the only way to get the pearls past

03:00all the police roadblocks.

03:02But like Mr. Dreyfuss wouldn't permit the shipment,

03:04so he tried to scare him away

03:06with the demon shark costume.

03:08Then he could take over the manager's job

03:10and authorize the oyster shipments himself.

03:12Then all that searching you did

03:14was a waste of time.

03:16Right on.

03:18Wells was just trying to confuse everyone.

03:20But you kids don't fool easy.

03:22And you showed up just in time

03:24to foul up his plan.

03:26I never thought

03:28Scooby'd go water skiing again

03:30after that shark practically ate up his skis.

03:32Like me neither,

03:34but this time he isn't taking any chances.
