00:00A lot of people are being manipulated and they are not happy, but yet they've allowed
00:06people to manipulate them and thereby live miserably.
00:10So when I was going through the second edition of my book, Healthy Relationships, and rewriting
00:14it and doing some small edits, I wrote down some quotes that bless me that are worth repeating
00:20on video.
00:22Nobody can manipulate you and control you unless you allow them to.
00:30Manipulation and control usually originate in fear and every time that you yield and
00:35succumb to manipulation, be it subtle or forthright, you sell a piece of your soul and surrender
00:43a part of yourself.
00:45So truly you have to stand up and be free to be yourself and stop trying to remake or
00:50rework or redo who you are.
00:53Be true and authentic to yourself and if people don't like you, that's their problem and you
00:58don't need to be with such people and walk on eggshells around them and try to please
01:02and appease them.
01:03You need to be true to yourself and live authentically and happily and be blessed and glorify God
01:08each and every step of the way as you do.
