00:17Their nominations were confirmed by returning officer Azurawati Wahid during the nomination

00:22day on Saturday.

00:24The by-election is being held following the death of its incumbent, Datuk Sharifah Aziza

00:29Syed Zayin, on August 2.

00:34There will be a 14-day campaigning period for both candidates eyeing for the state seat

00:38in the Johor Legislative Assembly.

00:41Some 66,318 voters are eligible to vote in the constituency, with early voting to be

00:48held on September 24.
