00:00His three sons call him cool and awesome for his laid-back and level-headedness during crunch time.

00:05His spouse, the first lady, is madly over his humility and sweetness.

00:10Just the adorable trace of a dad and doting husband who turned a year older today

00:14and who happens to have the toughest job in the land as our Kenneth Paciente reports.

00:21The family of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. warmly greeted him on his 67th birthday today.

00:27The first lady, Luis Araneta Marcos, shared a very sweet message for the president on her social media,

00:33describing her husband as the sweetest and kindest soul she has ever known.

00:38She said she is proud of him because despite his accomplishments, he remains humble,

00:43just as he was when she first met him.

00:46The president's three sons, Sandro, Simon, and Vini, are grateful for their best dad

00:51because despite his busy schedule, the president still finds ways to bond with them.

00:58So sometimes he'll just call us and say,

01:00Hey, do you want to have dinner today or do you want to have lunch?

01:05Like wherever he can fit it in.

01:07And like a typical father, the president doesn't fall short in giving them advice.

01:12There's one important lesson that he taught me.

01:15I think it's that when you're facing a problem and you become or you get panicky and go in panic mode,

01:24he always says to go away and think first because whatever your first decision will be,

01:29will always probably not be the best one.

01:32Just to always partake in whatever new or whatever is in front of you.

01:37Just to always ask questions and to always learn.

01:39I think as a general rule, if you're on that path, you can't really go wrong.

01:45That's why on the president's birthday, his three sons wish for him to stay healthy and strong,

01:50especially given the great responsibility he carries as the leader of the nation.

01:54Please don't get too stressed out.

01:56Try and find some free time to go camping or I mean, camping might be hard now,

02:01but yeah, just wish you had more free time.

02:04My biggest wish for my dad in general is just that he stays himself and he stays awesome guy.

02:11That was a cool, amazing parent that he's always been.

02:14Happy, happy birthday.

02:16I love you so much and I hope you know we always will be behind you 100%.
