00:00The Philippine Coast Guard, or PCG, recovered 97.43% of the oil spilled by the empty Terra

00:08Nova in Limay, Bataan, totaling 1.4 million liters and 17,725 kilograms of solid oil

00:18waste.

00:19The remaining 2.57% of the oil, or nearly 38,000 liters, could not be recovered due

00:25to the factors like biodegradation and dissipation.

00:30Sorbent booms used to control the spill had absorbed some oil, and some sludge were no

00:35longer pumpable.

00:37The final stripping operation was completed to ensure no residual oil remained before

00:42salvaging the tanker.
