00:24My new single ego, I'm performing tonight. It's very 90s inspired. So I wanted to just commit to the decade, you know

00:31Absolutely. What can you tease about your performance tonight special guests coming on stage with me, which I'm very excited about

00:38Yes, I know. It's my first time doing the VMAs in a really long time

00:43So I'm very very excited to get back up there and mostly I just want to have fun

00:48You know, I want to walk off stage and be like that was so fun

00:51Your album is out next month. I gotta ask you. What was your favorite decade to reimagine yourself in?

00:57Okay, so hard to pick right the 90s felt the most natural the 80s was the most fun the big hair like the makeup everything

01:04But musically the 70s

01:06We used all like authentic equipment like recording equipment from the 70s to make that portion of the record and it was just so cool

01:13I nerded out so much over that part. That sounds fantastic. I cannot wait to hear it
