* wheat flour ( गेहूं का आटा ) 2 Cup
* rice flour ( चावल का आटा ) 2 Tbsp
* Celery ( अजवाइन ) ½ Tsp
* cumin ( जीरा ) 1 Tsp
* black pepper ( काली मिर्च ) ½ Tsp
* musk fenugreek ( कस्तूरी मेथी ) 1 Tbsp
* Salt ( नमक ) 1 Tsp
* ghee ( घी ) 100 g
* hot water ( गरम पानी ) 1 glass
* baking powder ( बेकिंग पाउडर ) ½ Tsp
Method to Make Matthi:
Take wheat flour and mix rice flour in it.
Crush celery on hands and add cumin, crushed black pepper, musk fenugreek, salt and mix.
Add ghee or refined oil and mix.
Knead the dough by adding lukewarm water.Sprinkle baking powder on top and knead the dough. Knead a little tight with roti dough.
We will cut a small Piece of dough and give it the shape of the Matthi.
Heat the oil. The flame should be medium. When the oil becomes hot, we will fry the Matthi.
When the Matthi turns golden brown, filter it and take it out. The Matthi is ready.
