00:13One can expect a strong finish from the 27-year-old who is eyeing his third straight gold medal,

00:20and a place in history to be the greatest of all time in the men's long jump T20 event

00:26for persons with learning disabilities.

00:29Abdul Latif said his wife and mother-in-law are in Paris, and they will give him the extra

00:34motivation to perform well in the final.

00:37He said his focus has not wavered, and despite the long wait to compete, he added that he

00:43knows he can give his best in the Games.

00:46He said he had only set his target to win gold with another world record.

00:50His coach Mohamed Shahrol Amri said the team hoped that he will be injury-free in the final.

00:56He said they hoped that Abdul Latif can complete all his jumps and go for a distance of 7.5

01:03metres and above.

01:05Abdul Latif is the current holder of the world record of 7.64 metres.
