00:00Hey kids, ready for an exciting story? Have you heard the story of the boy who cried wolf?

00:07It's a classic tale with an important lesson. Let me tell you why lying is never a good

00:11idea. It teaches us about honesty and trust. Once upon a time a shepherd boy watched over

00:17his flock on a hill. He found his job very dull. He got really bored. Day after day nothing

00:23exciting happened. To have some fun he shouted, wolf, wolf, the sheep are being chased by

00:28the wolf. The villagers heard his cries and ran up the hill to help him. But there was

00:33no wolf. The villagers were puzzled and confused. The boy laughed at their angry faces. He found

00:38their concern hilarious. Don't cry wolf when there's no wolf boy, the villagers said shaking

00:44their heads. But the boy thought it was all a big joke. After a while the shepherd boy

00:49got bored again so he decided to play the same trick again. He cried wolf again, this

00:54time even more enthusiastically. And just like before the villagers came running. And

00:59just like before there was no wolf. The villagers were frustrated. The villagers warned the

01:04boy don't lie about the wolf or we won't come next time. But the boy didn't listen. He continued

01:09watching his sheep, thinking he was clever. Then suddenly he saw a real wolf. It was heading

01:15straight for the sheep. The boy was scared and shouted, wolf, wolf, please help. But

01:20this time nobody came. The villagers had had enough of his lies. The villagers thought

01:24it was another prank. The boy cried and cried but it was no use. The wolf scattered the

01:30sheep. When the evening came the villagers went up the hill to see what happened. They

01:34found the boy weeping. He was regretful. Why didn't you come when I called out that there

01:39was a wolf, he asked angrily. The flock is scattered now, he said, tears in his eyes.

01:44An old villager said, people won't believe liars even when they tell the truth. We'll

01:47look for your sheep tomorrow. Let's go home now. And that's the story of the boy who cried

01:52wolf. It reminds us of the importance of honesty. Remember, lying breaks trust. Once trust is

01:59broken, it's hard to earn it back. Always be honest and people will believe you when
