00:00It is still possible for workers in different parts of the country to receive an increase in their wages.

00:05This is also based on the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:09In his program, Insider, Labor Secretary Bienvenido La Guesma said

00:15that it is expected that this month, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board, Calabarzon,

00:23will have a consultation to implement the increase in wages in the region.

00:27While the RTEWPBS in Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Central Visayas, and Soc Sargen were also raising the case last month,

00:38the other Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board in Ilocos Region, Western Visayas, and Zamboanga Peninsula

00:44were also able to conduct a consultation.

00:48In October, the consultation was held in Cordillera Administrative Region, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas.

00:57In July, the RTEWPB National Capital Region approved the 35 pesos increase in the daily minimum wage of workers

01:07so that it can increase to 645 pesos per day.

01:13In other words, all the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards

01:19will have an action to adjust the minimum wage level in their respective regions.
