00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

00:07By the dawn, and ten nights, and the intercession, and the rest, and the night when it passes,

00:18Do you not see how your Lord dealt with Aad?

00:31Iram, the one with the pillars,

00:37Who was not created like her in the land,

00:44And Thamud, who brought the rock in the valley,

00:52And Pharaoh, the one with the pillars,

00:58Who transgressed in the land,

01:04And increased therein corruption,

01:10So your Lord poured upon them the scourge of punishment.

01:18Indeed, your Lord is in observation.

01:26So as for man, when his Lord tests him,

01:34He will honor him and bless him, and he will say,

01:39My Lord has honored me.

01:43But when he is tested and his provision is limited to him,

01:53He will say, My Lord has humiliated me.

01:59Nay, but you do not honor the orphan,

02:07Nor do you encroach upon the food of the poor,

02:19Nor do you devour the inheritance in abundance,

02:25Nor do you love wealth in abundance.

02:32Nay, but when the earth is crushed to dust,

02:41And your Lord and the angels come in rows,

02:49And on that Day He will bring Hell.

02:57On that Day man will remember, and how can he remember?

03:08He will say, Oh, I wish I had given precedence to my life,

03:14On that Day no one will punish for his punishment,

03:22And no one will seal his covenant.

03:29O reassuring soul,

03:40Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing to Him.

03:50So enter among My servants, and enter My Paradise.

04:00In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

04:08I swear by this city,

04:15And you are lawful in this city,

04:21And a father, and not a son.

04:26We have certainly created man in filth.

04:32Does he think that no one has power over him?

04:38He will say, I have destroyed wealth in abundance.

04:43Does he think that no one has seen it?

04:49Have We not made for him two eyes,

04:56And a tongue and two lips?

05:03And have We not guided him to salvation?

05:10He will say, What is the punishment?

05:13And what will make you know what the punishment is?

05:18The severing of a neck,

05:21Or feeding on a day of famine,

05:27An orphan with no relative,

05:32Or a poor man with no relative,

05:37Then he will be of those who believe,

05:42And adhere to patience,

05:45And adhere to mercy.

05:49Those are the companions of the Right.

05:55And those who disbelieve in Our signs,

06:00They are the companions of the Wrong.

06:03Upon them is a Fiery Fire.

06:09In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

06:16By the sun and its brightness,

06:20And the moon when it follows it,

06:24And the day when it illuminates it,

06:29And the night when it covers it,

06:33And the heaven and what it built,

06:39And the earth and what it spread,

06:43And the soul and what it proportioned,

06:48And inspired it with its wickedness and its piety.

06:54Those who purify it have succeeded,

07:00And those who destroy it have failed.

07:05Thamud denied its transgression,

07:10When it raised up its sick,

07:14So the Messenger of Allah said to them,

07:18The she-camel of Allah, and they gave it water to drink.

07:23But they denied him, so they stoned it,

07:27So their Lord bled on them for their sin,

07:33So He proportioned it,

07:36And He does not fear the punishment thereof.

07:41In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

07:49By the sun and its brightness,

07:53And the moon when it follows it,

07:57And the moon when it covers it,

08:01And the night when it covers it,

08:05And the day when it illuminates it,

08:10And what it created, the male and the female.

08:16And he who is stingy and self-sufficient,

08:20And he who denies what is good,

08:24We will make it easy for him.

08:28And he who is stingy and self-sufficient,

08:32And he who denies what is good,

08:36We will make it easy for him.

08:40His wealth will be taken from him when he turns back.

08:47Indeed, upon us is the guidance.

08:52And indeed, for us is the Hereafter and the first.

08:59So I have warned you of a blazing Fire.

09:05No one will enter it except the most wretched.

09:11He who denied and turned away.

09:15And the most righteous will be avoided by it.

09:20He who gives his wealth to purify himself.

09:26And no one will have with him any blessing to be rewarded.

09:35Except the seeking of the Face of his Lord, the Most High.

09:43And he will be pleased.
