00:00Let's go to Friday night's game now, where we spoke about this a little bit yesterday

00:08and I saw a note that the NFL is going to provide extra security, Scotty, in Brazil

00:14for the Packers and the Eagles so that nobody's worried.

00:19They've heard the players voice their frustrations and there's going to be some extra security

00:24so that everybody feels comfortable down in Sao Paulo for that game coming up on Friday night.

00:30Would you think, Mike, that, you know, honestly, at some level, it's almost as though, you

00:36know, sans what happened to Trump in Pennsylvania or whatever, you know, the rally with the

00:43kids shooting him in the ear, tried to kill him, sans that, is that not like, you know,

00:50the NFL in Sao Paulo and those two NFL teams and their respective hotels, et cetera, where

00:57they're staying, would that not truly be the safest place to be in, like, the entire country

01:06of Brazil on Friday night in the fact that they're going to have, like, I mean, literally

01:13armies of guys with, you know, submachine guns and army and military and police.

01:21They're going to be all over those hotels and all over those NFL teams and all over

01:27those buses and all over those convoys to the stadium from the hotels, like, it'd be

01:34the last place in the world you'd want to be like, hey, I think I'm going to go over

01:37and start killing some people.

01:39You know, honestly, you got to pick your spots.

01:42I would think that it'd be the safest place on earth tomorrow night.

01:45Now, I'm not talking about after the game, leaving the hotel, trying to go down to the

01:52barrio to have a beverage in Brazil and Sao Paulo.

01:57That's probably not a good idea.

01:58But when you're with the team, I think they have absolutely nothing to worry about.

02:01And I wouldn't have brought my families either to Sao Paulo because it really is hell on

02:08earth.

02:09I mean, I have it's inexplicable how they're having, frankly, an NFL game there.

02:15And to be honest, I'm surprised that they pulled off the Olympics there without a bunch

02:20of people being murdered and robbed and raped and shanked and kidnapped and sold into slavery

02:26and and, you know, sex traffic and narcotics.

02:30What don't they have down there with problems in Brazil?

02:33Let's get real here for a second.

02:35It's a mess.

02:36That place is an absolute hellhole.

02:38It's a mess.

02:39And you can quote me on that.

02:41It's no different than me talking about Oakland, California.

02:45On the field, of course, the Eagles will get to debut their newest weapon, running back

02:51Saquon Barkley, who came over from the New York Giants in the offseason.

02:56Head coach Nick Sirianni, very excited to have Barkley on his team.

03:00I mean, he made a run at practice yesterday.

03:02And I just remember I was wearing sunglasses.

03:04It was sunny.

03:05And I was just kind of looking, taking my sunglasses off and looking at a couple of

03:09coaches.

03:10I'm like, all right, this is awesome, you know, that we that we got him here, not only

03:14for the play that he brings to the field and the cut that he made yesterday at practice,

03:19but also his leadership and the person.

03:21What about when he's off for a month every year and he takes his vacation in the middle

03:26of the season?

03:28He's like Giancarlo Stanton.

03:30He gets that month long Caribbean trip in every year in the middle of the season.

03:34I don't have any stock in this guy's ability to play every game.

03:39It's not happening.

03:40He's always injured.

03:41I mean, that's why they don't want to admit it, but that's why they wouldn't give him

03:47the money.

03:48They just don't think he's worth the money because he misses five, six games a year.

03:52It's just automatic.

03:53He's just not.

03:56That's for sure.

03:57He misses a lot of games, a lot of games.

03:59I did want to update you on this, too.

04:01I told you Harper got hit in the elbow in his first at-bat.

04:06He left the game, Scotty.

04:07First hit for him in his second time around, so that is not a good sign.

04:13Hopefully nothing serious for Bryce Harper, who's opening the door for the Diamondbacks

04:18and Padres and Mets, opening the door for everybody else.

04:23That on Friday night is still the other Philadelphia team.

04:26The Eagles are still minus two and a half, with a 49 and a half total.

04:31I got to tell you, I know we're going to do this more on Friday when we talk about what

04:36we like in the game.

04:37It just smells like an under to me, Scotty, honestly.

04:40That 49 and a half, I think it's going to be like all these other international games.

04:46It's going to be slow.

04:47I don't think the guys are going to be right.

04:50I think they're going to be looking to get the hell out of there.

04:52It just doesn't feel like a game that's going to be 35-31.

04:55It feels more like a game that's going to be 17-13.

04:58I agree that I think it's an under, but look, my favorite part of it is watching Kaplan

05:07yesterday with his homerized milquetoast ass just constantly nobbing the Eagles.

05:13I mean, this guy, he does the Eagles pregame show.

05:17He comes on here.

05:18He would pick the Eagles to win every game, every week, every year, over every team in

05:23the league.

05:25He's once again picking them to win the division.

05:28And this is a team that lost six of seven to close it out.

05:31They should have fired Sirianni.

05:34They went and got that broken down Barkley from the Giants, and then they got a guy from

05:40Washington that they didn't want.

05:42Their receiver that they drafted from Penn State, Dotson, they didn't even want him.

05:46They owe him $7 million.

05:47They're like, here, you take him.

05:48We don't want him.

05:49He sucks.

05:51Then they immediately come out and say, oh, we have the best receiving core in the NFL.

05:54I don't buy their quarterback.

05:57I don't buy their coach.

05:59I don't buy them.

06:01I don't buy them to win the East.

06:04I still think Dallas is better than them, three straight 12-win seasons, and he thinks

06:09they suck.

06:10At least I come right out with it.

06:11My Steelers suck.

06:13My quarterbacks suck.

06:14I come right out with it every year.

06:16And I love Kaplan more than anybody, but I mean, this guy and the Eagles, can it just

06:20stop already?
