00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. thanked all the law enforcement agencies and the Indonesian government

00:09after the arrest of Dismissed Bamban Tarlac Mayor, Alice Guo, in Indonesia.

00:15According to the President, the arrest of Guo will serve as a warning to those who want to avoid justice.

00:23He will continue the duty of the government to enforce the law.

00:28Here is the statement of President R. Marcos, Jr.

00:58Let this serve as a warning to those who attempt to evade justice.

01:20Such is an exercise in futility.

01:24The arm of the law is long, and it will reach you.

01:29This government continues in its duty to apply the rule of law.

01:35Miss Guo shall be entitled to all legal protections due her under the laws of the land

01:40and pursuant to our commitment to the rule of law.

01:44But we will not allow this to prolong the resolution of the case,

01:48whose outcome will be a victory for the Filipino people.
