00:22In the event, there were 6 top 6 ladies,

00:28the new Miss Cambodia 2024,

00:32the first runner-up, Mien Rachana Sawanna,

00:36the second runner-up, Mei Chanlaw,

00:38the third runner-up, Savoth Sarafina,

00:42the fourth runner-up, Kang Sotonlea,

00:45and the fifth runner-up, Nuan Sreineng.

00:48The judges gave their opinions on the performance

00:52and gave their feedback on the performance.

00:55My name is Sawanna Rachana Mien,

00:58I'm 23 years old and I'm the first runner-up of Miss Cambodia 2024.

01:02I feel so honored and thankful about being the first runner-up,

01:06but there were a lot of candidates that were super strong and super beautiful and smart as well,

01:11so it was really hard to pick one.

01:13And I'm so proud of Bangchan Retsume, she is truly the definition of Miss Cambodia,

01:18because she has all the characteristics that a Miss Cambodia should have.

01:22She's really strong and I'm super, super proud of her.

01:25I will definitely do more research and I will practice more,

01:28and basically I will try to work on more of my Q&A stuff,

01:32because I feel like for me, I'm okay, but I still feel like I need a little more improvement,

01:38and I look up to Bangchan Retsume because she is truly an amazing person.

01:42So I've learned a lot from not just her, but from other candidates as well.

01:46Well, I heard that I'm going to be competing in Miss Cosmo World,

01:51so I'm going to be doing a lot of research on that,

01:54and trying my best to become better and improving myself.

01:57I'm going to practice more on my catwalk,

02:00and doing more interviews and doing more tourism videos,

02:06learning about the culture and tradition as well about Cambodia.

02:09Hello, my name is Mei-Chan Lau. I am Miss Cambodia 2024 second runner-up.

02:15I was super nervous at first because we were like the last three on stage,

02:20and at that moment, I couldn't imagine that this entire month of prepping for Miss Cambodia 2024 is already over.

02:30However, there is a new journey ahead of me, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

02:36I believe that I've always had a foundation in terms of having an advocacy, a passion,

02:41and I've been prepping both physically, mentally, in terms of fitness, dieting,

02:46as well as working on service projects.

02:50My journey does not end here, though.

02:52I'm going to continue working on projects and hopefully coming out with something new soon

02:57in terms of my commitment to health literacy in Cambodia.

03:01If anyone has dreams of also representing our country, being a female leader,

03:07don't be afraid to do it. Believe in yourself.

03:10If you just try, you have a 1% chance greater of being able to achieve what you want,

03:16and I hope that the younger generation, especially female girls, are able to look at us in our pageant

03:23and have hope as well as have motivation in order to achieve these goals.

03:28In terms of my feelings, I have a lot of friends that I can share with.

03:36And when I went to the band in the past, I didn't do what I thought I would do,

03:42because I had already made up my mind.

03:45In terms of my goal, I put it in Miss Cambodia because, first, I want to learn more about the event,

03:51and second, I see that this event is good that it works with me a lot

03:56because they are women who are mature and are able to share about the world,

04:01just like we do in the inter-religious life.

04:04And I think it works with what I have seen a lot.

04:07And also, I want to let you know that when I joined the band,

04:13I was able to share my experiences.

04:16Now, I can do it because of the growth and the things that I thought I couldn't do

04:23but I can do better than what I thought I couldn't do.

04:27In terms of what I can do, I am happy and satisfied with what I can do

04:32because I have prepared myself and I know how much I have improved.

04:38I am proud of the work that we do in the society,

04:41such as the support in helping our children,

04:47our parents, and our neighbors.

04:51We do it all together,

04:54from the beginning to the end.

04:58In terms of my appearance, I have a strong personality

05:02and I think that I can be in this band.

05:05And I think that this band is a good match for me

05:10because I know that my identity is in Cambodia.

05:14In the previous competition, I lost a lot of times,

05:17such as in the final, I lost a lot of times.

05:20Now, I am a new student,

05:23so in the competition, I need to share my experiences,

05:26such as learning, training, and work.

05:29And what can change me in this competition

05:34is what I like about the band

05:38because the band and this competition are very important.

05:44I would like to announce that Miss Cambodia 2024

05:48has been selected as Miss International Cambodia 2024

05:52to prepare for the Miss International 2024 competition

05:57in Japan in the coming months.

06:00I would like to invite Sovana

06:03and the Miss Cosmo World 2024 competition

06:08in Malaysia in the coming months.

06:12The 4th Miss Cambodia International Models

06:17are also preparing for the next Miss International

06:22before heading to the international stage.
