00:04:33They've come together, they've proved a formidable force, but they're going against a rock-solid unit in the system.

00:04:46Ever since Slammiversary, the system has been claiming we're in store for a system reboot.

00:06:06The fall of 2024 has seen TNA dominated by the system.
00:06:14They first made their presence felt back in Marketville in January, the night that this company was reborn as TNA Wrestling.
00:06:22The night Moose came to the TNA World Championship for Alex Shelton.
00:06:27Ever since, they have mowed down anyone that has opposed them.
00:06:33And here they are, in my mind, united stronger than ever.
00:06:39And to reclaim what they feel is rightfully theirs, the championships they've lost.
00:06:45The pride that's been taken from them by the likes of Joe Hendry, by the likes of Mike Santana and the Hardys.

00:07:01I do not envy our referee, Quinton Page-Principale, here, trying to maintain control of these eight very dynamic, very chaotic forces in this matchup.

00:38:05encounter between these two
00:38:07went to the 30 minute
00:38:09time limit draw per TV time
00:38:11remaining that night. Nick Neman wanted
00:38:13to go five more minutes.
00:38:15I believe Josh Alexander was surprised
00:38:17to see that Nick Neman
00:38:19still had gas in the tank
00:38:21so to speak. That's what led to
00:38:23Alexander low blowing
00:38:25Neman after the matchup.
00:38:27And then Alexander had the audacity
00:38:29to try and tell the referee
00:38:31oh now I'm ready for
00:38:33five more minutes.
00:38:35Alexander has been a very, it's no secret
00:38:37very different person since
00:38:39Slammiversary.
00:38:41He's doing things, he's done things
00:38:43the wrong way for so long.
00:38:45It's time to do things maybe
00:38:47a little bit differently and sometimes
00:38:49growing pains, they can be
00:38:51a real, real, you know what.

00:39:17it's going to be maybe a bit of a slow build
00:39:19here. You want to save some of what
00:39:21you got for the end of the matchup if
00:39:23necessary.

00:40:35Neman found his wind and there
00:40:37was that question of can Nick Neman
00:40:39go into those proverbial deep waters
00:40:41into a matchup like
00:40:43this. What did you learn about
00:40:45Josh Alexander within that
00:40:47matchup? Again, he was in control of the
00:40:49country.
00:40:51That's exactly where Josh Alexander lives
00:40:53in those long drawn out matches.
00:40:55Now to your point,
00:40:57Nick Neman did. I think he had
00:40:59a lot. He came alive late in the matchup
00:41:01which is a hard thing to do even at
00:41:0330 minutes. I do
00:41:05not want to downplay that.
00:41:07Ladies and gentlemen, that's half
00:41:09the length this match is guaranteed to
00:41:11be. We know we are going
00:41:1360 minutes here tonight. That's twice
00:41:15what we saw
00:41:17on impact.
00:41:19That's
00:41:21a totally different. There is another
00:41:23level, another gear
00:41:25you have to get to when you start
00:41:27pushing 40 minutes, 45
00:41:29minutes. Those couple of minutes are
00:41:31miles in a wrestling match
00:41:33like this. When you push your muscles,
00:41:35push your lungs, the very
00:41:37wind inside your body to its absolute
00:41:39limits.

00:42:13Here, you might want to forego that.
00:42:15You might want to get a tap out so you can survive
00:42:17longer in the matchup and hopefully make up
00:42:19for it later on and not injure a
00:42:21body part. Decisions like
00:42:23that, strategy like that, is
00:42:25totally unique to the Ironman matchup.
00:42:27You absolutely have to think about
00:42:29the long game. It's about endurance
00:42:31and if you do find yourself at a hole
00:42:33in terms of falls, you've really got to
00:42:35start to get creative. You've got to protect body
00:42:37parts at certain times and you can see the clock
00:42:39there in the corner as this match is
00:42:41in its infancy.
00:42:47Cover. Shoulders down there and a

00:42:51So far, very methodical.
00:42:53That's exactly what I came to expect from these two.

00:43:03that power advantage I've given

00:43:15it. The second that this match got
00:43:17made official, it was announced.

00:43:23he had this one in the bag.
00:43:25It's another thing to go in there.

00:43:29moderated last night. The final face-off

00:43:33This is as personal as anything
00:43:35we have seen. Look, if there's one thing
00:43:37I took away
00:43:39from that face-off
00:43:41between these two last night on TNA
00:43:43Impact, being right there
00:43:45and feeling the energy radiating
00:43:47from them. Look, you may not
00:43:49like some of the things Josh Alexander
00:43:51has done or said in the last couple of weeks,
00:43:53but you can't take away from either
00:43:55one of these guys the passion they
00:43:57have to be
00:43:59TNA World Champion, to be that
00:44:01flag bearer. Look out
00:44:03for this company
00:44:05willing to do what it takes.

00:44:13this early on in the matchup can be
00:44:15devastating. Gotta keep an eye
00:44:17on that, but Josh Alexander is targeting

00:44:45minor injuries, things that you
00:44:47don't want to keep you from your obligations

00:44:51So you do work through them as
00:44:53if it's necessary
00:44:55you do what you gotta do. And that's what
00:44:57Nick Nemeth is doing, but
00:44:59how much is that going to come into play? We know
00:45:01the intelligence, the in-ring intelligence
00:45:03of Josh Alexander. You know
00:45:05he will exploit that.

00:46:41in a regular match, you would try to see
00:46:43Nick Nemeth maybe got that one out. Try to
00:46:45counter, but no second thought
00:46:47got right to the rope. But how much
00:46:49even in that short time, how much damage
00:46:51was done.

00:49:41got the little bit of the issue where
00:49:43you pissed off Josh Alexander.
00:49:45I'll say the expression on Josh Alexander's
00:49:47face has completely changed. He went
00:49:49from, dare I say, having
00:49:51fun controlling and toying
00:49:53with Nick Nemeth, the crown game that we talked
00:49:55about, now this is about
00:49:57punishment.
00:50:01And I think especially
00:50:03the fashion in which that first
00:50:05ball happened.
00:50:07Josh Alexander, whatever you feel about him
00:50:09right now, is the type, look,
00:50:11you drop me in the center of the ring, 1, 2, 3,
00:50:13I'll take it. You know,
00:50:15you get me in the right hold and submit me,
00:50:17I'll take it. That's the kind of wrestler he is.
00:50:19I think he takes exception to being
00:50:21hoodwinked like that by Nick Nemeth.

00:50:53that Josh Alexander's ticked off
00:50:55after that fall that Nemeth
00:50:57was able to score, but you can't allow
00:50:59something that early, a fall
00:51:01that early in an Ironman matchup like this
00:51:03to completely derail your plan.
00:51:05The emotions of Josh Alexander
00:51:07seem to be in control far more right now.
00:51:09Once he has found
00:51:11his composure, he digs down deep.
00:51:13We know Alexander has had a history
00:51:15of letting his emotions rule the day
00:51:17from time to time, but
00:51:19he knows what's at stake here.
00:51:21He knows the sandbox for
00:51:23playing in here in this Ironman match,
00:51:25and so he has found
00:51:27that composure once again.

00:53:51attack on the core, the midsection
00:53:53of the champion.
00:53:55You take out, you take that lumbar
00:53:57area out, you pretty much eliminate
00:53:59everything. You can even eliminate things like the superkick,
00:54:01which can take a lot of
00:54:03flexibility and everything for Nick Nemeth
00:54:05to pull off.
00:54:07You can take a lot of weapons away
00:54:09from the arsenal of the TNA world
00:54:11champion if you can snap his
00:54:13back.

00:55:35going to linger with him essentially for the rest of
00:55:37his career. It's the type of injury that
00:55:39doesn't, the body doesn't automatically repair
00:55:41the labrum, unfortunately. It's
00:55:43going to have to deal with the scar tissue that
00:55:45builds up. And it's normally the type of thing
00:55:47where I would advise Nick Nemeth
00:55:49give him a couple tips and bits here about
00:55:51saying, hey finish this match early maybe.
