00:00I say the typical New York diet, if you live in a neighborhood that has poverty in it,

00:07is totally effed up, totally messed up.

00:11That's why they call them food deserts.

00:13It's not enough information on healthy foods, not enough information of what the benefits

00:18of fruit and veggies do to you.

00:20New York is the fastest city in the world.

00:23There's nothing faster than a New York minute.

00:25So people adapt to eating wrong.

00:30Once you're out of your mom's house, you want to hustle, you want to move, you want to work.

00:35Not everybody, but a lot of people don't look at the inside of their body and take the importance

00:40of it, as well as the outside of their body.

00:43So to be honest with you, it's a war.

00:45It's a war on poor neighborhoods, because if you ever get a chance to move into a more

00:50affluent neighborhood, you see the differences in the stores.

00:53You see a difference in the grocery stores.

00:55You see the difference in that there's not a liquor store in every corner.

00:59Like you're in an affluent neighborhood, there's one liquor store, maybe two liquor stores

01:03throughout the whole thing.

01:06It's only one or two fast food places.

01:08But when you're in a hood, all fast food, all liquor stores.

01:12So the New York diet, especially in a neighborhood that is affected by poverty, is horrible.

01:18Do you ever think about how much the school is paying for each child to eat?

01:24It's under a couple bucks.

01:26So how good is the food, really?

01:28And that's pretty much in all neighborhoods, but especially in neighborhoods of poverty,

01:33especially in New York.

02:10Meat and dairy causes mucus, mucus causes cancer, so I'm not telling you don't eat a

02:18chopped cheese. I'm telling you, watch where you eat a chopped cheese.

02:22Watch when you eat a chopped cheese and don't eat too much chopped cheese.

02:33music. Large Professor is one of the best producers, one of the best rappers, one of

02:38the most organic, authentic hip hop people that ever lived.

02:41He's the one who introduced Nas with Live at the Barbecue.

02:45He's the one who made Looking at the Front Door a relationship song way, way back in

02:50the day. So Large Professor is just what I would call a pillar in the hip hop community

02:55and just a very down to earth human being, very dope producer, very dope DJ, very dope

03:01emcee and a very dope person to know.

03:03So we do love to infuse hip hop in our events.

03:07And so we glad that we got him able to come out and rock with us.
