Universal Pictures is offering the first taste of its new 'Jurassic World' film starring Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali with a title, release date and first look images!

00:00We're finally getting a first look and more details about the new Scarlett Johansson-led

00:04Jurassic Park film. Universal shared two first-look images showing lead Scarlett Johansson,

00:10Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali, who star in the film alongside Rupert Friend,

00:15Luna Blaze, David Iacono and more. In addition, the studio announced Thursday that director

00:20Gareth Edwards' movie is set to hit theaters July 2, 2025 and is titled Jurassic World Rebirth.

00:28Jurassic World Rebirth takes place five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion,

00:33the series' previous installment starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard,

00:37alongside Jurassic Park returnees Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill.

00:42The Jurassic franchise launched in 1993 with Steven Spielberg's smash Jurassic Park.

00:48According to the synopsis of the latest film, only a limited number of dinosaurs remain and live in

00:53specialized biospheres, and three of these creatures hold the key to a potentially life-saving

00:58drug. Covert operations expert Zora Bennett, played by Johansson, attempts to secure the genetic

01:03material from the dinosaurs but ends up stranded with a civilian family on an island that holds a

01:09secret being kept from humanity for decades. This new film will hit theaters nearly three years

01:14after the initial Jurassic World trilogy concluded with the release of Dominion.
