00:00Well, Wollongong's always been home to me. I grew up here, I started swimming here, did

00:06nippers down on this beach and yeah, it's just home to me so it always has a special

00:12place in my heart. Today we are opening the promenade and have the honour of it being

00:18named after me so it's definitely very special and definitely a huge honour. I always try

00:25and get back here as much as I can but it always is very special coming back to Wollongong,

00:31especially after the Olympics because I mean I feel the support of all of Wollongong when

00:35I am overseas competing but when I come home I always get the warmest welcome home. Always

00:40very grateful to the Wollongong community for all the support that you've always given

00:44me. When I'm away at the Olympics competing I always feel the support of back home and

00:49then especially when I do come back home to Wollongong I always get a very warm welcome

00:53home so I'm very grateful.
