11:10Portal time. The portal to this planet was one way. Transport mechanism.
11:15As we discovered following our initial arrival, we originally assumed it would work like any other way that we could return to the portal device at our convenience.
11:24But this was not the case. Thankfully, we eventually discovered the second portal and departed from it, leading back home.
11:31These two portals were modestly very efficient for counter-purposes, and we developed our settlements appropriately to regularly travel back and forth as we discovered.
11:40But what we didn't comprehend at first was a long time to count.
11:45Through the portals, while transport happens quickly, time on Earth, land on this planet and other sites, we soon realized that a week on Earth was a month back on Earth.
11:56When the portals failed, with time, disparity became great.
12:00When the arrival caused a malfunction and killed so many people, we became afraid to use the first portal to return to Earth.
12:07Over time, we started to see images, giving us red signs on either side.
12:11They were strange, howling structures, much more advanced than anything we had seen before.
12:18Some believed the portal had recalibrated to a homeworld of the portal status, but I knew the truth.
12:24The images in the portal were absurd, but thankfully, they proved it.
12:28Unfortunately, we never tested our hype, given completely unsettled power reactions from the portal.
12:34But far more likely, we would suffer tragic transportation accidents, like our comrades from home at the beginning.
12:41There were no volunteers, and eventually no further opportunities before the portal went out of control.
12:46In retrospect, I wish we'd taken much more.
12:55Okay, the door is locked.
12:59So, there is another portal around here, and that is the Departure Portal, that can let me go back to the Ark.
13:09But, the last time, the last time, one week here is like centuries there, maybe.
13:16That's what the recordings say.
