00:15I know. I know. We didn't people, we did not have this conversation. I knew determined

00:21on how big he said the news was because there's only really a couple of things left out there

00:26in football, right? The Pittsburgh Steelers have made their decision. And who do you think

00:34it is? Unfortunately, it saddens me to think that it's Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson is

00:40a starter for week one for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Congratulations everybody. Russell

00:46Wilson, who is better than Justin Fields will be your starter in Pittsburgh. I don't necessarily

00:52agree with that statement. But as I said before, previously on this show, if Justin

00:57Fields could not beat out Russell Wilson, then, you know, my measurement on how good

01:04he is may be inaccurate. Now I would like to see him on the field for a full game and

01:08a Pittsburgh Steeler uniform.

01:10And I think that won't take long because I think Russell Wilson is washed. And if you

01:14don't believe that, wait until you see him again in a real game for four quarters. And

01:20I don't, I don't want to see this BS when they, Oh, Justin's going to play four series

01:25and then Russell, I don't want to see none of that. I don't want to see no specialty

01:28packages. I don't see none of that, bro. Put him in and see if he can operate the offense.

01:38I actually have a differing of opinion, even though I do believe that Russell Wilson is

01:44a better quarterback right now than Justin Fields. I think that Justin Fields, Justin

01:49Fields is a more explosive, potentially quarterback than Russell Wilson. What I, what I think

01:54is the Pittsburgh Steelers are doing is the right thing because you, what you can't do

02:00is have Russell Wilson be a backup. He won't be a backup, but hold on. He won't be a backup.

02:06I think Russell Wilson won't be a backup. Russell Wilson will have one to three weeks

02:12to show what he can do. And if he doesn't, they'll go to fields and they'll move on from

02:16Russell Wilson and they'll just roll with Justin Fields. The rest of the year in my

02:20opinion.

02:21Let me ask you a real question for people who say, cause I think I would say that you

02:25fall under this category as well, but people to say that he won't, he's not a backup quarterback.

02:32Then he doesn't want to play football instead. And if that's the case for me, then I don't

02:35want him as a starter either. If you mean to tell me if your performance gets out there

02:41and it's not up to par or someone else is better than you. And now you can't, you don't

02:45even want to be on the team cause you don't want to back up.

02:48That's the other thing. I don't think, I don't think Justin Fields was significantly better

02:52than him. Obviously. Like if Justin Fields was straight up better than him, he would

02:56be the starting quarterback and they just move on from Russell Wilson. Why waste our

03:00time? The fact is that he just wasn't in the preseason or at camp or in practices. So let's

03:06go with Russell Wilson. Let's see what he does for a few weeks. If he stinks, if it's

03:10not working, we'll go to Justin Fields and we can move on from Russell Wilson.

03:14All right. But again, if I'm the Pittsburgh Steelers, I'm not moving on from Russell Wilson

03:19because to me, if Russell Wilson becomes your backup, he's the best backup in the NFL.
