00:10you can only get after beating a game at least once.

00:14Therefore, we won't be including any modes, features, or characters.

00:32The Armor of Zeus, God of War There are a lot of armor sets to track down

00:41in Kratos' Norse Adventures, some of which are naturally harder to get than others.

00:46The Armor of Zeus can only be obtained on a New Game Plus playthrough, and each piece

00:51takes defeating three of the toughest Valkyries in the game.

00:54The belt is earned from Hildur, the gauntlets come from Gondol, and the helmet is earned

01:00from their queen Sigrun.

01:01That's a whole lot of fighting for this reward, but it's definitely a tantalizing

01:06prospect.

01:07Each piece gives Kratos a major damage boost, but also increases the damage he takes for

01:12a greater challenge.

01:14The armor also comes at level 8, and each piece can hold three enchantments.

01:23Morpho Knight Sword, Kirby and the Forgotten Land

01:31If you want this post-game ability, better be prepared to fight for it.

01:35After completing the main story of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, you unlock the Isolated

01:39Isles.

01:40Consisting of remixed sections of previous levels, you have to collect 250 of the 300

01:46pieces of the Soul Belonging to Leon, leader of the Beast Pack from the base game.

01:52This unlocks a fight against the secret final boss, Morpho Knight, which is naturally a

01:57pretty big challenge depending on the power-up you use.

02:01But for all this work, Kirby gains an upgrade to his sword ability that pretty much annihilates

02:06anything in his path.

02:08There won't be much new left to do in the game, but it's awesome nonetheless.

02:15Mr. Toots, Red Faction Armageddon

02:23A weapon so dumb and ridiculous, we can't help but love it.

02:27Red Faction Armageddon is a fairly serious game, set on a deadly futuristic Mars, and

02:33pitting players against a dangerous group of cultists.

02:36Now one of its most memorable weapons, Mr. Toots is an actual unicorn, who emits a stream

02:42of harmful, rainbow-colored gas blasts every time you fire him.

02:46Everything from his ammunition to the awkward, pained face he makes upon using him is absurd.

02:53But we can't deny how hilarious it is to use this magical creature against others.

02:57He doesn't have any extra steps to unlock either.

03:00Just beat the game once, and the glory of Mr. Toots is yours.

03:05The Mirror Shield, The Legend of Zelda The Minish Cap

03:14The Mirror Shield is a pretty handy item in most Zelda games.

03:18Usually earned in a dungeon, it can reflect light to solve puzzles, or certain enemy projectiles

03:22depending on the game.

03:24However, in The Minish Cap, Link can't earn it until after he's already beaten Vati,

03:29the final boss.

03:30That's not the only thing though.

03:32Players unlock it at the end of a pretty lengthy side quest that involves fusing pinstones

03:37at several hidden spots in Hyrule, which eventually results in Big Goron appearing in Vale Falls.

03:43He turns Link's regular shield into the mirror one, which reflects any projectiles back as

03:48a beam.

03:49So it's pretty neat, even if you won't have much use for it.

03:58Climax Brace, Bayonetta

04:00Being a fashion-forward type of witch, there are a lot of accessories to gain in Bayonetta.

04:05The Climax Brace is certainly the most broken in terms of power.

04:09It passively puts Bayonetta in Serious Mode, later known as Umbren Climax, a state that

04:15produces her most powerful attacks that is usually only kept for key moments in the story.

04:20Which means, every combat encounter wearing the Climax Brace is a total breeze.

04:26Naturally, something this powerful takes a lot of effort to unlock.

04:30In order to get it, you must find all Umbren Tears of Blood, 101 collectibles hidden across

04:35the game.

04:36Actually, only 50 of them are hidden in the game, while the rest are tied to trophies

04:41and achievements, meaning you basically have to beat everything, not just the base game.

04:50Concrete Power, Infamous Second Son

04:58You get some pretty cool abilities in Infamous Second Son, but perhaps the strongest one,

05:04and one that's actually used by enemies against you throughout the game, is the Concrete

05:08Power.

05:09It's basically what it sounds like, the ability to manipulate concrete for a variety

05:14of detrimental attacks.

05:16And since you're literally surrounded by concrete the whole game, it can be a ton of

05:21fun to use, and you'll likely never run out of materials.

05:25It has fewer moves and upgrades than the other powers, but its strength more than makes

05:29up for it.

05:30You get it by defeating the final boss and absorbing it from her, which lets you start

05:33your post-game adventures with a hefty wallop.

05:42Mjolnir, Assassin's Creed Valhalla

05:49If a game lets you wield the Hammer of the Mighty Thor, you can bet that it will A. likely

05:55be the most powerful weapon in the game, and B. require a laundry list of prerequisites

06:00in order to unlock.

06:02In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Eivor must first collect all pieces of Thor's armor

06:07set.

06:08Three pieces are earned by beating each of the Daughters of Lerion.

06:11They each also have a special dagger, which act as keys to get the fourth piece.

06:16Finally, the fifth piece is earned by taking out all 45 members of the Order of the Ancients.

06:22Only with the full armor are players worthy enough for Mjolnir, but because of where it's

06:26found, you still have to have beaten the main story before you can pick it up.

06:31Hand Cannon, Dead Space 2

06:38The Hand Cannon of Dead Space 2 is such a good weapon, it actually takes beating the

06:43game twice before you can claim it.

06:45After you complete the story on any difficulty, you'll unlock Hardcore mode.

06:50If it wasn't obvious, that's the hardest difficulty the game offers.

06:54But by beating the game once again on this unlocked difficulty, you'll earn the Hand

06:59Cannon.

07:00As a giant foam finger, it's certainly a silly looking weapon, complete with Isaac's

07:05yells of bang bang or pew pew whenever it's fired.

07:08However, it's also supremely powerful, able to knock a necromorph back and destroy

07:14their limbs in the process.

07:19Sacred Relic Sword, Elden Ring

07:27Players might have a tough time deciding on the best weapon to use for their build in

07:30Elden Ring, but it's honestly hard for most of them to measure up to the Sacred Relic

07:35Sword.

07:36This impressive greatsword has some high stats as well as the ability to produce a wave of

07:41holy fire that moves forward, dealing high damage to whatever lay in its path.

07:46You can get this weapon by giving Elden Remembrance, a consumable, to Enya, a special merchant

07:52at the round table hold.

07:53Unfortunately, there's only one place you can find Elden Remembrance, and that is after

07:58defeating the Elden Beast, the final boss in the game.

08:05PRL-412, Resident Evil 4

08:15Resident Evil is a great series for post-game unlocks of powerful weapons.

08:19The fourth game alone gives you access to a tommy gun and a rocket launcher with impotent

08:24ammo.

08:25However, our favorite post-game unlock from RE4 has to be the PRL-412.

08:31Standing for Plaga Removal Laser, it can take out nearly any enemy in a single shot, including

08:37bosses.

08:38Not only that, but a charged blast can take out an entire group of enemies instantly.

08:44It can be a bit slow, but that's hardly a downside when it's this destructive.

08:49It takes commitment though.

08:50You must beat the game twice, once on normal and once on the unlocked professional, in

08:55order to use it.
