00:30Ah, to hell with this.
00:36Hello there.
00:38Ha, long time no see.
00:40Yeah, I know, I know.
00:42It's been some time now since we heard each other.
00:45But hey, we're back with new quality, baby.
00:49106 is up, we're back to business, and there's a lot more coming.
00:55We put a lot of time and work into this.
00:57So let me guide you through some things that you might have missed out on last time.
01:02And obviously, the new stuff.

01:06Okay.
01:07So in the meantime, we had the weed planting update.
01:11Basically, there are two types of strains you can grow, indoor and outdoor.
01:24Outdoor strains are planted in bowls inside your hideout.
01:28They require artificial lighting, watering, obviously, and air filters for avoiding potential
01:34fuck ups.
01:36As they grow, you just pick up the buds, dry them, and voila, product.
01:44Outdoor strains are a little bit more tricky, kinda.
01:48They grow a bit longer, much larger, and in the end deliver more product.
01:53In this case, you don't need hideouts, but you can't just plant them wherever and forget
01:57it.
01:58You need to pick a spot far from sight and sunny enough so the plant can grow.
02:03You also have to run around and water them as well.
02:06That's unless there's a lot of rain, but I wouldn't rely on that.
02:10Always check if the plants are thirsty.
02:13Where do I get the seeds, you'll ask?
02:15Well, don't worry.
02:18There's a local guy that takes care of that.
02:22He smuggles the finest seeds into the ghetto and knows a lot about this stuff.
02:27With that guy, you're covert.
02:36Okay, so, about 1.06.
02:40As you've probably already noticed, the map graphics and lighting have improved.
02:44There's a new lockpick system and general UI remastering done as well.
02:49Well, at least I hope you've noticed, haven't you, huh?
02:53Also, there's a new fancy sail area management system inside Shadycom.
02:58It marks and highlights all your unlocked areas and their current status.
03:02Everything more clear, readable, and more pleasant visually than the old system.
03:09The biggest change is the map graphics and weather system.
03:12The landscape material, sky, daytime cycle, fog, and lighting are all remade from scratch.
03:19Now the weather dynamically changes, which affects lighting, visibility, and also gameplay elements.
03:25The new lighting is now also dynamic, with moon phases, meaning some nights will be darker than others.
03:32Clouds also play a role.
03:34Bad weather, like rain or storms, will affect your clients and the time they're willing to wait for you to deliver.
03:41So if you hear that thunder outside, you better hurry.
03:44That downtown junkie's patience is running low much faster.
03:49Part of the map materials were reworked, texture quality improved.
03:54Part of the models were replaced with completely new ones, others refined or retextured.
03:59Many additional small details and finishes added to the streets and building elevations.
04:04All to add more atmosphere and realistic looks to the ghetto.
04:08Making your regular drug runs a new, different experience.
04:12But wait, there's more.
04:15The map is now not only visually different.
04:18There are some new areas of the map, different pathways between places.
04:22Some paths or yards now require either lockpicking or finding new routes to access.
04:27You're gonna have to be more careful and more tactical about your regular running around selling stuff now.
04:33There are also new lockpickable indoor locations.
04:37As well as multiple loot spawns, both indoors and outdoors on the map.
04:41The loot can help you on your journey if you happen to run dry on some supplies.
04:45So look around from time to time, huh?
04:48So that's it for now, but don't worry, there's a lot more coming.
04:54New mechanics are being developed, new fraction coming to the game.
04:57Man, I'd love to tell you all of it, but I can't, not just yet.
