00:21This pharmacy poster reads, ìDonít make it easy for mosquitoesî and lists places
00:25prone to breeding grounds for the insects, such as stagnant water.
00:30The mosquitoes were detected in towns near the Guadalquivir River, such as in Coria del
00:35Rio.
00:37Earlier this month, residents of the town staged a protest and urged the government
00:42to take more effective measures.
00:46Romania also noticed a spread of the virus.
00:49The country reported one fatality and 22 infections since the beginning of the summer.
00:55Eighty percent of infected people will show no symptoms and the risk of developing a more
01:00severe form of the disease is rare, that is according to the World Health Organization.
01:06The organization also says people over the age of 50 and immunocompromised persons are
01:11at a higher risk.
01:15The best way to stay protected is to apply insect repellent, wear long-sleeved shirts
