Oasis fans rejoice as British rock legends announce reunion

Oasis fans in Manchester and London welcome the news that the band will reunite for a series of shows next year, ending a 15-year feud between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. "It's great news," says Michelle Locke, speaking next to a mural of the Gallaghers in their hometown of Manchester, northern England. Oasis formed in 1991 and have been credited with helping create the Britpop era of that decade.

01:39I just thought it would never happen, to be honest. Just over the years, they've always
01:59said they would never get back together and then suddenly it's just happened out of nowhere.
02:03So hopefully we're going to play Glastonbury as well, so we might manage to get tickets
02:06to Glastonbury hopefully next year as well.
