00:00So, Keith, the last 2 years, Scotty Sheffler, world number 1, has entered Eastlake at 10

00:11under in the top spot in the FedExCup standings, but he has failed to win the FedExCup.

00:17Rony McIlroy back in 2022, Victor Hovland getting it done in 2023.

00:22In fact, Sheffler has struggled a little bit at the Tour Championship.

00:25He has called the staggered start, the starting strokes format, silly, even as recently as

00:31the last few weeks.

00:33Scotty Sheffler, for a third straight year, enters Atlanta in that top spot, the favorite

00:39to win the FedExCup.

00:41Will year number 3 be the charm for Scotty Sheffler?

00:44Ben, I'm not so sure.

00:47I think Scotty's in his own head, and we saw it last week out in Denver.

00:51He didn't play very well adjusting to the altitude, and it seems like when everything's

00:55cookie cutter, Scotty is no doubt the best player in the field, but when there's anything

00:59that throws him off just the slightest bit, oh boy, I would watch out for Xander.

01:04I mean, I think he is definitely the play to win the FedExCup.

01:07He's only 2 strokes behind, and you look at his history here at Eastlake, and I know there's

01:12been a redesign, but in 7 trips previously, he's won the gross low score 3 times, right?

01:19So even through the staggered start, this guy is still playing the best over 4 rounds

01:24and making the most birdies with him in 2nd place, and you know, last week in the press

01:29room, he was all fired up to get down here and get to one of his favorite places on tour.

01:35You know, I think Scotty's in a lot of trouble.

01:37I think it's going to be 3 for 3 that Scotty loses the FedExCup on the final week of the year.

02:13grass is just flourishing, especially on those greens which are recently planted.

02:18And here's the thing.

02:19As a PGA professional, I'm here to tell you that when you plant those greens, when they

02:23first come out, they are super, super grainy.

02:25So this will be as Bermuda as it gets down here.

02:27And Sam Burns, in the gross tournament, forget those staggered start strokes, right?

02:33That's going to cut everyone's numbers super, super short.
