A new Indian restaurant called Chilli Castle has opened in Hutton with show-stopping dish. Take a tour around with owner VJ Efraim who has promised to bring a taste of India to his customers.

00:00A new Indian restaurant has opened its doors in Hotton.

00:06Chilli Castle opened last week and has already created a stir with customers with one show-stopping

00:13dish.

00:16Hotton Crescent and we're just moving around.

00:32A nice sitting area.

00:40And a little bar set up.

00:45It's a waiting area where people just wait because we don't have generally tables much.

00:59It will be booked completely every day.

01:02So people are just waiting.

01:03This is a waiting area completely, yeah.

01:07So people who come on, come on group like six or eight or ten in difference of we allocate

01:11the tables.

01:12And like if it is like 15 people, it's like this table, 10 people, this table.

01:17So we organize according to the parties.

01:20We do a lot of parties here, birthday events and wedding parties even sometimes.

01:25So we recently got a tour, so when they're going to Lake District, they just stop in

01:31here as a middle spot and they're tasting and they're going back.

01:35Last time we had a hundred people tour last Friday.

01:38So that is one of the, as an early start, it's a very good start for me.

01:43So we completely bought as an Indian ambience, I can say.

01:49So it's like India, India.

01:56Entirely, it's also, it's a cultural feeling, I can say.

02:04And the spices, the curries, which we generally make the curries here.

02:08So we can just do this.

02:33And our, our Natsyam, so it's a traditional, we brought a traditional, complete Indian

02:45traditional feeling in.

02:46When whoever comes here, they feel like, wow, we came to India, a little India, I can say

02:58Can you just tell me on camera, like what you told me earlier about what inspired you

03:03to start your own restaurant?

03:06Yeah, I was in this hospitality industry from last 10 years where I work from, work in Australia

03:11and I can move back in 2021 to UK.

03:14And I was very passionate about hospitality service where I just want to, I want to service

03:20my people and give the best food, which they love.

03:23They love Indian curries.

03:26And we have a specific South Indian, North Indian, and a complete Asian master chefs

03:32in our restaurant.

03:33So we feel that this is the place where if someone wants to be eat really creams about

03:38the curries and the authentic feel.

03:40Yes, this is the restaurant where I can tell about you.

03:43And yeah, this is, this is the place where I work.

03:46When I came to UK, this is the place where I worked as a dishwasher in this restaurant,

03:50the first job.

03:51Now I'm the owner of the restaurant.

03:54Because I'm very passionate and keen about my goals.

03:56That is what I'm able to succeed in my life.

03:58So I just, I just want to make it a chain of restaurants in UK from England to Scotland,

04:04all over the UK.

04:05I just want to make it as a chain of restaurants and chilli castle.

04:07I want to create a brand and chilli castle.
