00:07I know it's been a little while for you guys,

00:09but for us, we've obviously only just seen how things panned out.

00:12But how are you feeling?

00:13I feel good.

00:14Mixed emotions for me.

00:15Yeah.

00:15An emotional rollercoaster.

00:18I've heard you talk about it.

00:19Nice for it to be out in the open, for sure.

00:21It's great to see everyone today.

00:22Do you know what I mean?

00:23We've all gone so well throughout that whole experience,

00:25particularly the boys.

00:26So it's good to reconnect.

00:28OK, well, Stephen, seeing as you touched on it very briefly,

00:30let's come to you first.

00:31What did I do?

00:32On how things have worked out.

00:34I was so heartbroken, because we saw you walk down the aisle.

00:38You said, I do.

00:39And then it's not worked out.

00:41Any regrets for going through everything that you did?

00:46How are you feeling?

00:46No, I don't have any regrets.

00:47Obviously, in a breakup, when you're watching your breakup,

00:52because that's a first, obviously,

00:54you raise certain questions about your own behaviour and hindsight.

00:57So maybe there's some regrets in that element of things.

01:00But going through the whole process, no, none whatsoever.

01:03I was a little bit heartbroken to hear it didn't work out.

01:05But you guys are smiling, and that's the main thing.

01:08Freddie and Tom, you were the guys who did the leaving at the altar.

01:13But Oli, you were left at the altar.

01:17How was it?

01:18Because actually, I thought it was really admirable how you dealt with it all.

01:22I didn't want all the weight to come down on Demi.

01:24I think leading up to that, there have been conversations

01:26that had led us both to believe that it probably wasn't the right time for us.

01:29I didn't want it to be...

01:30And ultimately, I wanted to come away from this with my head held high,

01:33and we're both happy regardless of what the outcome was, so to speak.

01:36So I think I touched on it at the time.

01:37It's like, I've still got a best friend in her for life.

01:40I've still got best friends in these guys.

01:41So I refuse to come away thinking of myself as anything other than a winner

01:44just because I didn't get married.

01:45I don't look at it as first and second place.

01:47If you come away with a head full of memories and new friends,

01:51how can I look at it as anything other than a good thing?

01:53Yeah.

01:53Have you guys all been hanging out in the interim?

01:56Have you seen much?

01:57As much as we can.

01:58Yeah, it's been very minimal.

01:59Yeah, I mean, I live up north, so for me, it's been hard.

02:03But I've kept in touch with a couple of lads and stuff.

02:05But yeah, we're all in touch.

02:07We're all mates.

02:30Like you said, it didn't work out for you guys,

02:33but it didn't necessarily mean that it was the end.

02:36So have you seen, like, your prospective other halves?

02:40Or have you been on any other dates with anyone else in the meantime?

02:43For me personally, you know, it was, the journey was,

02:47it was a roller coaster, like Steve said.

02:50Ups and downs.

02:51And it was very overwhelming.

02:53A lot of pressure.

02:54And I met an amazing girl,

02:59but there was a lot of pressure from her, I felt, on me as well.

03:03And it wasn't until the moment between sort of,

03:09we had a brief spell where we were at home prior to the weddings,

03:12you know, where we had a bit of a time to ourselves.

03:14And it was really that time where I had time

03:16to kind of reflect on myself and think,

03:18I've got the opportunity now, my mind's clear.

03:20And I had a bit of clarity.

03:22But up until that point, it was just a lot of pressure.

03:24I have stayed in touch with Kat.

03:26She's a good girl.

03:27We did try and sort of continue things after.

03:31But I think it was quite clear that we were quite different.

03:34And personally, I've not been dating.

03:39But I'm not, obviously, I can't speak for Kat.

03:41Okay.

03:42There's a lot of love out there for you though, Freddie.

03:44I don't know if you've seen it, but there's a lot of love.

03:46So you're not going to be short on others.

03:48Honestly, the comments section of my social media is just about Freddie.

03:51It's like, can I meet Freddie?

03:53Aww.

03:54Yeah, they can.

03:55How about you and Maria?

03:56Similar story to Freddie, I think.

03:58Like Maria and I were like, we had an amazing journey together

04:03and got on so, so well.

04:04Obviously, the differences in our values

04:06were probably the main reason why we didn't work out.

04:09We were fully intending on staying in contact.

04:12It's just, it's hard.

04:13Like when you break up with someone,

04:14particularly when you break up in front of millions of people,

04:18there is like, it's hard to stay in touch with any ex, right?

04:20But so I think, you know,

04:21we stayed in touch for a few weeks after the show

04:23and have been in touch sporadically.

04:26Obviously, I think, you know, I have to respect her feelings

04:28about how some of the show sort of was portrayed

04:31and her feelings around that.

04:33So I've always got a lot of time for her and a lot of respect.

04:36But yeah, I'm not sure it'd be appropriate for us to be besties.

04:38That's fair enough.

04:39Yeah, it's a lot.

04:40I can't even imagine watching this all back.

04:42Did you actually want to watch it back?

04:44Or is it like, no guys, you're not.

04:46I can't miss the fun bits between Andrew and others.

04:49But yeah, it's weird because I think,

04:51I don't know if you guys feel the same,

04:52but when you're watching it,

04:53it kind of takes you back there again.

04:54Yeah, definitely.

04:54The bits that made you feel really, really happy,

04:55make you feel happy again.

04:56The bits that weren't so easy,

04:58you kind of go through that again.

05:00So it's like, it's a weird one.

05:01Definitely.

05:01We all had different highs and lows, didn't we?

05:03Like for me, like the pods was amazing.

05:06It was like, there was some real magic around it.

05:08And it was just, it was hanging out with these boys.

05:09But then also those dates, it was like,

05:11it was like therapy for me,

05:12those pods being one-on-one with all those people.

05:14So the rest of it, I found a bit more challenging.

05:17Yeah, I found the first four episodes emotional.

05:19I was crying at his reveal, let alone my own.

05:21It was emotional.

05:23And that's where you caught the feelings for the first time,

05:25was during that process, you know.

05:27And it's the first time we saw each other date.

05:29And so you only saw the one side of your mate

05:32going through what they went through,

05:33their own journeys,

05:34and activate their own obstacles and hurdles.

05:37But you didn't actually see what was going on

05:39and what caused the result of that, you know.

05:41Was there anything when you're watching it back

05:43that you saw the other do?

05:44You're like, oh dude, why did you do that?

05:46Yeah, loads.

05:47Loads.

05:50Yeah, I mean, yeah, I've seen stuff.

05:52And I'm thinking like, hmm.

05:53You're not going to give me specific?

05:55No, but there's definitely things I've seen.

05:56I'm thinking, oh, okay.

05:58For me, it was the other way around.

05:59I was like, fuck it, Oli's got game.

06:01I mean, I need to learn some stuff from him.

06:04Oh, you were taking tips.

06:05You were like, nice.

06:06Exactly, exactly.

06:07Okay, then I'm a girl who has struggled to meet a guy

06:10for the longest time.

06:11So what is your advice?

06:13What would you say is the best way to meet a guy for me?

06:16There's a show called Love Is Blind.

06:19Well, I will be signing up for the next series.

06:21As cheesy as it sounds, I think when you're not looking for it,

06:22sometimes that's the best time.

06:23It's like you can bump in someone in like a mutual hobby

06:26or whatever, be there.

06:27Run clubs are the thing these days, isn't it?

06:29Oh God, I tried it, guys.

06:31Everyone's meeting their partners there.

06:33But yeah, I think things like that.

06:33Like, I think, I don't know.

06:35What do you guys think?

06:35I think, like, my experience on that,

06:37it was all about dating with intent, right?

06:39And like going into dates and saying, this is who I am.

06:41This is what I'm looking for in a partner.

06:43And I think when you do that,

06:44it shows that you're taking that experience seriously.

06:46So I'd do that in any dating situation moving forward.

06:49I say just be yourself.

06:50Don't go in there with expectations.

06:53Then it takes all the pressure away.

06:55Then you can be yourself.

06:56You can be vulnerable.

06:57And then that's where the beauty happens, I think.

06:59Okay.

07:00Yeah, same.

07:01I just think just, you know, it'll just naturally occur, hopefully.

07:04But I'd rather, see, I'm not the kind of person

07:07to go out to like clubs and stuff and chat to girls and stuff.

07:11So I'd just rather meet someone in my car phone warehouse or something.

07:15I never even existed in my car phone warehouse at the time.

07:18The nation wants to know.

07:19I'll give you an upgrade.

07:20You're getting forms of girls when you're outside your car phone warehouse as well.

07:24I mean phones, not girls.
